Just a little background information, I've had a bad relationship with big name dealers and try to stay away from them and just visit the mom/pop style dealerships. I nearly bought a used Xterra from K relationship with big name dealers and try to stay away from them and just visit the mom/pop style dealerships. I nearly bought a used Xterra from Ken Garff NIssan in Orem and long story short didn't end up purchasing it even after signing all the documents etc. Partly my fault so I'm not made there but they still send me mail saying, bring in your Xterra for service, or a $39 oil change. Kind of kicking me down since I never even drove the car off the lot. Anyway my first contact with this dealership was through the internet. I was looking for a used Nissan Xterra and they happened to have one listed, w/o a picture. I got on the chat with us now link and talked to someone, can't remember their name, and he was very helpful. The ad had no picture but said it was a manual V6. I asked him a question about the transmission, whether it was a manual, with clutch, or an automatic. Many dealerships say it's a stick, meaning a automatic stick lever. I was looking for a MT so I asked him to verify if it was and he actually ran out and verified it for me. The price was decent so I made the 50ish mile trip there and upon getting there asked the front desk for Keith, so the receptionist paged him. I browsed around the lobby, glanced at some pamphlets and the car in the showroom. Took about 15 minutes, for him to contact her via phone I'm guessing, for someone else to help me. Brad had just finished up a sale with a married couple and greeted me with a smile and firm handshake. I was upfront and frank about what I wanted, the Nissan Xterra that was on the internet. We walked out the front door and he glanced around, then said I think it might still be out back. I waited outside, by my choice, for about anther 10 minutes while he checked on the status of the vehicle. He returned confirmed it was out back and lead me to where it was. He explained that it wasn't washed or detailed, and that while they were running a safety and IM it showed a few codes which the mechanic told Brad were relating to the transmission. When I heard that I was no longer interested and Brad was very understanding. He explained that a vehicle with that many miles would be sold as is, just to get it off their lot. He was honest about the problems he knew of and when I said I wasn't interested he lead me back into the building offering a few other choices in the SUV market. He asked if it could be any SUV or a certain one, and I said an Xterra or a Jeep Wrangler. He said oh well we have two jeeps on the lot, a four door 2008 or a 2 door 98, would you like to see either? I told him I would like to see the 2 door TJ, it was more in my price range, so he took me out there and showed it to me. Told me a few things about it and explained that it was being pulled off the lot to be sent to auction. I hesitated but decided it wasn't for me, he handed me a business card and said to check their inventory and if i see anything I liked to call him, and I left. No pushiness or brazen acts to get me into something I didn't want. Upon returning home I did a little more research and called him back and said, you know I would like to look at that Jeep again before it goes to auction is that possible, and he said that it was being sent that day, and offered to hold it if I was serious about buying. I told him not to hold it and that I would keep looking, but before I hung up he said if you'd like I can call you on Tuesday or Wednesday after the auction to let you know if it sells. I said yes and gave him my phone number. I anxiously waited the next two days for the phone call saying if it had or had not been sold, but never got the call. I looked online and saw that the Jeep is still up for sale on their website, and it's been about a week and a half now. Not upset at Brad, just thought I would share my experience. After reading the reviews on this website led me to this dealership instead of others around me. If I see something I like there I will gladly return. Thanks Brad More
I visited the store today 9/29/2011 with internet sales price on a hyndai Elantra good through the end of the month (10/1/2011) when I sat down with the salesman, who was very friendly and informative but price on a hyndai Elantra good through the end of the month (10/1/2011) when I sat down with the salesman, who was very friendly and informative but I was informed the cost would be an extra 1000.00 and told they had pulled the ad this morning. SORRY. I reminded them of the ad and expiration only to be told from the sales manager that there aren't any options, again SORRY. . This is false advertising, there wasn't simply a mistake, failure to honor their own ad and then add an extra 1000.00 to the price I was expecting to pay going to the dealership. I left. I have purchased two other cars from Ken Garff in the past but will not return. More

All the people working there were very friendly and you feel welcome. Brad (the dealer I was working with) was very helpful as well. He always calls me when he says he will and called me the one day after feel welcome. Brad (the dealer I was working with) was very helpful as well. He always calls me when he says he will and called me the one day after the sales as well check if everything was okay with the car. I feel that this is really useful especially when buying a used car as there's a certain amount of uncertainty with buying used cars. When I asked about some things mentioned on the website (the 3 day exchange policy), Brad was not sure about it. What I really appreciate is that he said he wasn't sure (he didn't try to make up an answer) and said he would ask and get back to me which he did very promptly and confirmed that the 3 day policy applies as mentioned on the website. My wife and I had a great experience working with Keith. He showed us a Santa Fe on Thursday. Over the weekend I test drove some other vehicles and settled on the Santa Fe as my preferred vehicle. By the t He showed us a Santa Fe on Thursday. Over the weekend I test drove some other vehicles and settled on the Santa Fe as my preferred vehicle. By the time I contacted Keith on Monday all the non-black models at Ken Garff Hyundai had been sold, probably due to the promotional offer that in part had swayed me. I asked Keith if he could obtain some color other than black. He tracked one down that met my specifications and wasn't overly loaded with unwanted options. By making this extra effort keith won my business over other dealers in the valley. Because of the scarcity of the desired vehicles and the need to bring the vehicle from elsewhere I didn't have an opportunity to negotiate on price or options, but I felt I was treated fairly and professionally. I appreciated Keith's ability to help me through email and on the phone before I ever got to the dealership and then his patience as we made a decision.
