THE MOST EXCELLENT DEALER EXPERIENCE! Absolutely, positively, the GREATEST experience I have EVER had with a car dealership, and I haven't even bought a car there yet! And to make matters Absolutely, positively, the GREATEST experience I have EVER had with a car dealership, and I haven't even bought a car there yet! And to make matters even better, I live FIVE HOURS away from this dealership and yet I am working closely with them to find my next vehicle! Between my home in Pittsburgh, PA and Freedom Toyota of Hamburg there are literally hundreds of Toyota dealerships (heck, we have several within 15 miles of my home) but it is Brian Long and Toyota of Hamburg who have won my trust! The sales and service here is over the top best in class! Brian Long (sales consultant), Ray (Sales Manager) and Ashley Schweikert (Customer Relations Manager) have gone so far above and beyond for me that I wonder how they can possibly top what they have already done! On Saturday, May 16, 2015, I was in Hamburg, PA teaching a class at Cabelas. As I left Cabelas late in the afternoon, I experienced a problem with my 2004 Rav4. At 207,683 miles I lost all power steering and the dash lit up with all kinds of lights. I noticed a sign for a a Toyota dealer just up the street and I was able to get my car into their parking lot. It was a little after 4:00 PM. Brian Long greeted me as I entered the dealership and I told him what the problem was. He informed me that the service department was closed and that all of the technicians had left for the day. When I explained that I was five hours away from home and needed to get back to Pittsburgh, he offered to come out and take a look at the car for me. He said that maybe the problem was something that would still allow me to be able to drive the car back to Pittsburgh. It took just a few seconds of looking under the car and poking under the hood for Brian to see that my drive belt had broken and that I could not drive the car without causing fatal damage to my engine. With all of the service technicians gone for the day it hit me that I was stranded in Hamburg, PA, five hours away from home, with a class to teach the following morning in Erie, PA. It would be Monday, at the earliest, before someone could look at my car. Brian gave me the bad news that there were no loaner cars available (two week waiting list for a loaner car) and that the closest rent a car place was about 30 minutes, at a minimum, away from where we were standing. I thanked Brian for his help and I told him I needed a few minutes to call my husband and see what he wanted me to do. (i.e. use my AAA to try to have my car towed closer to home; leave it at Freedom Toyota and call a cab to take me to a rental car place; etc). Brian excused himself so I could make the call but said, "before you call a rental car company, let me go talk to my manager". While I was on the phone with my husband Brian returned and informed me, to my astonishment, that if I left my vehicle there, he would personally see to it that my car was looked at on Monday morning. He also said Ashley, the customer service manager would like to see me. Brian took me inside to an office where I met Ashley, the kindest and most genuine woman a person could ask to encounter in a time of crisis like this. Brian stayed with me until he was sure I was taken care of. Before departing he gave me a huge hug and told me he would talk to me in the coming days. Ashley let me know that she had located a loaner vehicle for me and there was an employee who was filling the car with gas as we spoke. I reminded her that I was taking the car all of the way to Pittsburgh and she said that she understood. Mind you, Ashley was suppose to have gone home at 4:00 PM, but she stayed behind to offer whatever assistance she could! Ashley quickly completed all of the necessary paperwork for the loaner vehicle and walked me to the parking lot where it sat, clean and ready to go. She handed me the keys, told me that she was off on Monday but would have someone give me a call, and hugged me. My experience with a dealer "loaner vehicles" is a car with a fair amount of wear and tear, dirty interior, gum wrappers under the seats, etc. Not this car. This car was nearly brand new. A 2015 Toyota Corolla with just 3,000 miles on it. If I didn't know better I would think they had pulled it off of the car sales lot and slapped a "fleet vehicle" sticker on the window just for me. It was THAT clean! The entire event, from the time I pulled into the Freedom Toyota parking lot with my Rav4 until the time I pulled out of the parking lot in the clean and shiny 2015 Corolla was 45 minutes. Brian Long and Ashely Schweikert, with the help of the sales manager, Ray, took what could have been a really awful situation and they did something completely awesome with it. If you are looking to buy a vehicle, I HIGHLY recommend the Toyota product (heck, mine has over 208,000 miles on it as of today and the only time it has EVER left me stranded was this broken belt that I have talked about) and I HIGHLY recommend Freedom Toyota of Hamburg and Brian Long. More

The other department professionals (Shane and Wes) were kind, courteous; Brian was especially attentive to our family needs (two small children in tow) during our short waiting period to prepare delivery. Exceptional experience...will be recommending to our friends and family!!! More

Caleb Bauer our salesman made us feel comfortable and definitely put us at ease with the whole process and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles. Caleb went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and was very understanding. Kevin in finance was also very helpful. He went above and beyond and had us in and out of his office in a jiffy!! We are very impressed with Freedom!! We will not shop anywhere else from here on out. Freedom Toyota had many perks and the service was awesome. We will definitely recommend Caleb/Freedom to our friends and family. Thanks for everything guys!! More

Definitely recommending family and friends to shop here! I visited 3 different dealers in the area. Joe Gildea told me immediately that I would be purchasing a car that day. I had a very difficult situation being that I had about $8,000 in negative equity because the amount of money I owed on my current vehicle. Joe Gildea worked his butt off and made a deal that I could not resist. He did tell me that getting the custom color that I wanted would cost me more so I decided I would settle with a dark grey color. Joe called me the day before I was to pick my car up to tell me he had a surprise and had my special color car! He definitly made my dream come true with this car. (the car that I purchased was delivered from a dealership that toltold me I couldnt afford the car. I cant wait to rub it in their faces!!! Thanks Joe!!!!:) More
