Worst service ever. Today I brought my pathfinder for recall and they told memy hood was broken and would cost me $420,00. This review is solely based on the service dept as I have never dealt with sales dept and after this experience never will. Brought my 2015 Nissan Altima for a “diagnostic test” that cost $200. They told me that the car (with only 55k mikes) needed a new transmission. This was my second opinion so I did not argue that it needed a new transmission. Car was there over a week and new transmission was put in. $5000 later! I drive out of the parking lot and didn’t get more than a 1/4 mile away and the exact same issue happened, not once but twice. Car would not accelerate past 20mph on a busy road (Washington street). I don’t know how I wasn’t rear ended. Through my hazards on and slowly made my way back to the dealership. I hand service dept my keys and told them what happened. Got a stunned look, I guess they were just as confused as I was. Was it really the $5000 transmission??? Or something else. They keep the car another 3 days to find out it was a brake sensor but in fact the car “definitely needed” a new transmission because all the diagnostics pointed to that. They tried to blame me asking if I drive with 2 feet??? Seriously?!!! Well after as this I didn’t get an extended warranty other than the one that comes with the transmission, no financial help, just a xxxxty rental car with a 1/4 tank of gas….oh and an apology. No one can actually PROVE to me that the transmission was NEEDED. Nissan consumer affairs was just as useless as Kelly Nissan. I don’t believe a word from any of them. Multimillion dollar company and they can’t even offer an extended warranty for all the inconvenience never mind some financial help or a couple free oil changes. Poor customer service!!! More
