Never have been in an auto dealership where I felt at "Home". My first relationship with Karp goes back to 1995 (when Tim was only a Service Manager). From day one (after purchasing the car through Al) I was thrilled with the way I was treated. I felt like part of a Tim was only a Service Manager). From day one (after purchasing the car through Al) I was thrilled with the way I was treated. I felt like part of a family, rather than a customer. Everyone, without exception, was personable, knowledgeable and eager to please. Because of my experience with my first Karp Volvo, I purchased an S80 and also leased an S60. I have never been disappointed with the way I was treated, or the quality of work that was done on my car. The mechanics working at Karp are absolutely fantastic. They know their business and I've never had to return b/c something wasn't fixed right. Things were repaired correctly the first time. I have recommended Karp Volvo to many, many people...and shall continue to do so, as they are honest, caring, eager to please and exceptionally customer friendly. I did go to other Volvo dealerships but didn't feel a "connection" until I met the staff at Karp. Customer Service and Repair Service can make or break a dealership. I can only speak from my own family's experience, and we've been absolutely thrilled with our relationship with Karp Volvo. By the way, aside from what I've written hereinabove, I want to go on record as stating that not only was their pricing fair and honest, they have never tried to talk me into work that was not needed on the car, nor did they try to talk me into "extras" that I simply didn't need. Honesty, knowledge and caring are qualities that I feel are essential to someone with whom I will do business, and, Karp Volvo possesses these important qualities...and more. (Even their service waiting area has been designed for their customers' comfort.) They have left no stone unturned when it comes to customer satisfaction. Thank you for your time. Liz Meyer (salesperson) made our car buying experience pleasent. She is knowledeable concerning her automoble and presented her sales pitch with humor as well as facts. Despite our many changes of mind about features, concern about price, etc, etc, she was su her up for our purchase of a new Volvo wagon in June 2010. The second time the driver's power seat. When asked the response was always that they didn't notice anything, they were not aware of anything going wrong while the car was serviced. They always offered to fix the damage for a hefty bill. Their customers trusted this Long Island dealer with their hard earned money to buy the car from them but servicing the car with this dealer was a mistake costly paid. The third time it took them more than a week to diagnose correctly a battery drain problem and they caused a slight damage to the passenger door. It was the last time that Krap screwed things up with my car. More
I brought my V70 XC for service and was treated very well. Tony worked with the warranty company to make certain my car was fully repaired at the lowest cost to me! The workmanship was great. I was treated with respect, courtesy, and kept in the loop of all the progress while my vehicle was being serviced. In the coming years I plan to purchase another Volvo and this dealership wll be my stop. More
This was one of the WORST dealers I have been to. The finance department tries to con you and lie to you about loans and interest rates. The sales people were friendly, but not enough to buy.
