Tire pressure was low — the most basic check wasn't performed. Exterior Condition (on a "new" vehicle): - Significant scuffs, microscratches, and marks throughout - Moderate paint chips and scratches - Windshield had dark scrape marks consistent with ice/snow scrapers - Deep dents in the steering wheel metal trim Interior Condition: - Dirt marks on the seats - Trunk storage area covered in dirt and dried mud drips - Nothing cleaned or prepped prior to delivery Dealer Response: Offered $100 off the vehicle price. When they offered to detail it on-site, it was two workers in dirty clothes using abrasive materials and cheap brushes in the underground garage. Seats and mats weren't covered during cleaning. No professional detailing capabilities whatsoever. Bottom Line: This dealership cuts every possible corner on vehicle preparation and quality assurance. The car was being presented as new but looked and felt like a neglected loaner. If you're shopping here, inspect everything thoroughly before signing anything. Better yet, find another dealer willing to respect your purchase. I only came here because they had the exact build I needed. I won't return. More

This dealership has poor customer service. They do not return phone calls or let you speak to anyone once a car has been purchased. The finance department does not deal with people in an upfront manner. When a warranty is purchased they should tell you what the cost of the warranty is-not what your total payments are going to be on your loan. We are also not aware if there were any other options when it came to purchasing a warranty-such as a 1 yr or 2 yr option. The finance man spoke so fast that not a word could be heard or understood. Buying a car should be a pleasant experience which this one was not and why doesn't anyone return phone calls? Are you finished with the customer once they walk away? More

In all my years dealing with Karp i have never met a person as rude and indifferent who was more concerned with smoking cigarettes tha assisting my wife and I with the process of a lease a new s60. even after my wife went into his office and asked a question. He did not represent the Karp family culture and service that we have been used to over the years. He did not even congratulate us after we took possession of our sixth Volvo from Karp. If it weren’t for the sales and service people, I would not return. More
