I've been looking at used cars and I was/am ready to buy. In discussing the car with the salesperson he offered his opinion that it was worth $1,500 off the list price. I made an offer $2,000 below the list price and told the salesman that I was prepared to buy that day. He told me he'd communicate my offer to the used car sales manager (who was not at the dealership) and get back to me immediately. When he got back to me he told me that the manager would not budge off the list price. I found that strange in that the car was not advertised as a "firm" price and I've never heard of a used car price not being negotiable at all. The next day, yesterday, I called the dealership to speak with the salesperson. My intention was to raise my offer. He wasn't available to take my call and never returned my call. The following day, today, I called him again and was put into his voice mail. I asked that he call me to discuss the car but he again didn't return my call. Late in the day, I called the dealership again asking to speak with someone about the car. I told the young woman I spoke with that I had already test driven the car and wanted to simply know if an offer $1,000 below the list price (or more than what the salesperson thought the car was worth) would be acceptable to the used car sales manager and, if so, I was prepared to come to the dealership immediately to buy the car. The young women asked who my salesperson was and said that she'd communicate my offer to the manager. Once again, I didn't receive a return call from either the sales manager or the salesperson. This is my honest experience and I don't like doing business with people who can't extend the common courtesy of returning a call. Quite frankly, I don't understand why the owner of the dealership would find such behavior/tactics acceptable. In any event, I'll buy elsewhere and, based upon my experience, recommend to anyone considering buying from Karp that they consider buying elsewhere too. More

The service advisor was personable and promptly checked me in. I really appreciate that my appointment time was honored. All work for my car was clearly identified. The waiting room was tidy and comfortable. With that being said, I was most pleased that I didn’t have a long wait for my car. This was a great first time experience! More

Great sales dept--lousy service and repairs I had a fantastic purchasing experience with Karp Kia and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from them, but I won't be letting them touch my cars I had a fantastic purchasing experience with Karp Kia and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from them, but I won't be letting them touch my cars for repairs anymore. I've had multiple frustrating and expensive experiences--the 'free' oil changes aren't worth the hassle of turning down the hard upselling on unnecessary 'maintenance', and there's a decent chance you may come away from said oil change with mysterious damage done to your engine cap, which will then require $500 worth of repairs that isn't covered by warranty. My most recent experience, the one that lost me as a customer for good, was when I was told that my popped tire would be covered by warranty, only to be called a few days later asking for payment. I told the department how disappointed I've been, but paid the bill because I'm not an outlaw, and THEN they SEND ME ANOTHER BILL FOR $850 AFTER I'VE ALREADY PAID IN FULL. Go somewhere else for your repairs, Anywhere else. More

My salesman was Michael Rosenberg and he was just great. Mike is very relaxed, well spoken, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about the Kia products, specifically the Sportage that I leased. I had very recently (2 weeks earlier), leased another car with a different dealer. The experience between the two dealerships and my salesman are night and day. Mike's easy going manner and total professionalism made this So EASY ... I will be back to see him again, and will highly recommend Mike and this dealership to friends and family. Also want to acknowledge Henry, the finance person I worked with. Another true professional and really nice guy. More

Don't risk doing business with these people. They will proudly tell you that they markup 5K on a vehicle. KIA has ONE hot SUV out and they think their on the top of the mountain, with all the premium markups you can buy actual luxury car. I bought numerous cars for myself, my company and family in past but never paid MSRP so I asked for $700 off MSRP which I thought was more than reasonable but they looked at me like I've done most ridiculous thing in the world. So After visiting the dealer and few phone calls back and forth, we agreed to close the deal at MSRP under 2 simplest conditions. My conditions were to be Processed early in the morning and that I will take the car home same day since I didn't want to take another day off to pick up the car, seems very simple and reasonable conditions yet none of these have been done as promised. I was at the dealer 5 minutes before my appointment but waited 50 minutes to speak to the salesman, Doesn't matter if your the first and only customer of the day you won't be able to purchase a car and drive out same day since the "manager" is backed up on his paper work, but This so-called manager was out in the showroom yelling and chatting how he likes his bike and how fast it is. I guess his bike is more important than taking care of a customer that's giving them 40k business. If you for some reason must do business with these people make sure you check the price as many times as possible, MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR REBATE! they will try to change their words and numbers every opportunity they seek. Check your numbers, price will be different toward the end, and when you ask about it the salesman will put on a dumb face and will tell you "I told you in the beginning". Lucky me I write everything down, I didn't fall for that BS. I couldn't stand the level of incapabilities and dishonesty, disregarding all of our agreement we made day before nothing was done as promised. I got up and left middle of writing my check for down payment. Waste of your time and energy putting effort to even talk to these people. More

Having done my homework, I had two options in mind and was never pressured into looking at anything I didn't want to consider. Claudio was very helpful and easy to work with. Julio in management was very transparent when it came to pricing, while being professional and patient. I was already a Kia driver before and I would be a return customer to Karp following this experience. More
