Highly Disappointed with the sales department. Tico told me that the car I purchased was eligible for a EV tax credit, but he lied. Cars that are leased and are not assembled in the US are not eligible. My car was delivered with a huge chip, covered in paint. No one will take responsibility to repair this. Even the sales manager does not follow through after the sale. It’s too bad the owner is not aware of these issues. Karp ‘s best employee is Donna who helped me with paperwork I needed. She gets 10 stars.
Great experience going to Karp RVC,NY. We had Eric Lee as our salesperson. Very professional. Couldn't have been nicer and so very informative. Could answer all our questions. Was not pushy in the slightest. Allowed us to come to a decision over several days. Would highly recommend both Eric and his dealership. Allowed us the time to come to a decision on our own. Jonathan, a manager at Karp, was also informative, professional, efficient and helpful.
Walked into Karp Kia at 2:30 drove out at 6pm everyone there was top notch From my knowledgeable salesman Jay sarasty, to the Manager Eric Martinez my finance guy Mike Rich and last but not least Andy the PDI inspector made my experience hands down one of the easiest ever at a dealership!! I gave it a one star because their pricing is competitive, but with that comes a lack of professional or efficient service. Sales staff often leaves you with no response, promises to get back to you within a certain time frame and then forgets about you. We reached out to Karp Kia and confirmed we were interested in purchasing the vehicle. We put a deposit down and told them the day/time that we would be there to pick it up. We asked to see financing information and details regarding the certified pre-owned information. A week went by without us seeing the documentation. Finally, two days before we were supposed to pick up the car, we asked for it again. They said he would get it to us by the end of the day… then silence. We reached out again at the end of the day and told we would see it the morning which is a day before we were to arrive to pickup the vehicle.. The next day comes and again, silence. By the middle of the day, we finally had to call and speak with a manager to get the information. The next day we were scheduled to meet salesperson when the dealership opened to purchase the vehicle. They were no where to be found and no one else would help us, including, the managers. The managers actually seemed to be avoiding us and casually just kept going outside to vape or walking laps around the parking lot. After the salesperson arrived, it turns out the car wasn't even ready to go. In the end, I waited 5 hours at the dealership until the car was ready. Not once did really anyone else seem to want to help. The only positive thing I can say about this dealership is the finance team was kind and very efficient. Everyone else lacked a sense of professionalism and common courtesy. In the end, staff tried to blame me for the delay and said that if I had given them my insurance information prior there wouldn’t be a delay. We had checked in several times to ensure all was good and wasn't asked for this information until 30 minutes prior to their closing the night before we were set to pickup. I got my insurance information to them within 15 minutes and it still took 5 hours for me to leave the dealership with the car. Avoid this place even if the deal seems competitive.
Craig Graber made our first time new car buying experience a very good one. It was far above and beyond our expectations; especially where it really counts; auto financing! Phillip Dellisola also didn't disappoint. He provided the needed servicing of the faulty liftgate. This made up for the time lost initially trying to work with Kyle Schmeling, who we found to be very unlike his colleagues. Otherwise, I highly recommend Karp. You can't go wrong buying your car here.
Neil was awesome! Very kind person and loved having a conversation with him. I’ll certainly enjoy my new Kia!
