We think Rebecca did an awesome job keeping us informed as to what was going on, and when it was taking longer than expected she gave us the reason. She hung in there with us. Us purchasing a different vehicle was out of nessisity as the trade in (Mustang)does so poorly in bad weather, we need something we can rely on. Bob gave me an hour of his time today to try and buy a new 2011 Elantra. We didn't get the deal done yet, but I will eventually. I had an accident and my car was totaled. My son said he would do some research on what to buy and after a couple of weeks he told me to go to the Shawnee Mission dealer and buy a Hyundai. Frank Bellmyer w would do some research on what to buy and after a couple of weeks he told me to go to the Shawnee Mission dealer and buy a Hyundai. Frank Bellmyer was the salesman and he could not have been nicer and more helpful. Everyone that I met was there went out of their way to be kind and helpful. I even had to call Frank about locking my keys in the car and he was most helpful. I would recommend this dealership and Frank to anyone. More

We had been to Shawnee Mission Hyundai one time before and it wasn't a good experience. We ended up purchasing our car somewhere else because we had felt like we were being pushed into buying a car we did and it wasn't a good experience. We ended up purchasing our car somewhere else because we had felt like we were being pushed into buying a car we didn't really want. We were told that they had this huge warehouse where they had lots of used Hyundai Sonatas but every time we asked to see a different one we were pushed toward the one that didn't have the features we were looking for. When it came time to buy our new mini van we looked for months. I read LOTS of dealer reviews. We were pretty loyal to CarMax but they didn't have what we were looking for in our price range so I had to find a dealer that did. It was scary. You read reviews about people buying a car and then finding out it was in some huge accident or being lied to about where the car came from.. told that it runs great and then they get halfway home and the engine shuts down. Scary out there. About 95% of the reviews about Shawnee Mission Hyundai were great. We were reluctant since we had that bad experience. They had several cars in our price range though. I called on a specific van and it had sold the day before. I spoke to Frank and it was a completely different experience. He found vans that were in our price range. Since we were driving from far away he helped me get a list of everything I would need so that we didn't have to make two trips to finalize it all. I gave him all the info on our two possible trade ins and he let me know which one we should bring. When we got to the dealership he'd pulled a car that we really didn't want. It was a Chrysler Town and Country. Nice car we are just partial to the Hyundai/Kia brand. My husband and I were both a bit nervous because we thought this might go like the last time. It didn't we simply expressed our opinion and Frank found us something else. He helped us compare the differences between the 08 and 09 versions of a Kia Sedona. He explained to us that if we went with the 08 and bought the warranty that took us up to 100k it was a better deal. We ended up buying the car and are so happy with it. There were some minor issues with it but the dealership fixed them all without charging us as most of it was covered under the warranty. Most of it was little cosmetic things. Frank even gave us a rental van and then met us the next week halfway between our house and the dealership to switch it out. Since we live about an hour and a half away this was above and beyond our expectations. We are EXTREMELY happy with our purchase and this experience. They have earned our business the next time around that's for sure. Go see Frank Bellmyer he'll get you all set up. More
I bought a new Hyundai Sante Fe about six months ago and did not care for the vehicle. I called Frank to see what used cars were availible. He did some checking and got back with me. I then traded the new Sante Fe in on a used car that I like alot more. When I bought the Sante Fe my wife told me I would not like it so I got the, " I told you so" from her but thats ok.
