Service will not take your phone call I have 2 recalls for my Subaru legacy sedan. These recalls are mandatory and have to be done. Unfortunately the closest dealer is Johnstons Subaru. I called them to let them know I was running late for an appointment and could not get a service rep on the phone. Their phone skills are horrendous. They place you on hold for long periods of time and do not return to the phone or shoot you to a voice mail and no one calls you back. I now have to find another dealership to handle these recalls. What a worthless waste of my valuable time. Worst customer service ever from any car dealership!!! More

First Oil Change I recently brought in my 2018 Impreza Sport for its first free oil change. When the car was returned to me I popped the hood and noted both engine coo I recently brought in my 2018 Impreza Sport for its first free oil change. Also, I drove the car home,it let cool for two hours and check the coolant level in the reservoir. Much to my displeasure, i noticed the level was BELOW the "Low" mark. More
Not happy My 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, is my third Subaru lease. My two prior leases were with Fedder's, who were absolutely wonderful to do business with! Unfort My 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, is my third Subaru lease. My two prior leases were with Fedder's, who were absolutely wonderful to do business with! Unfortunately, the same experience is not true with Johnstons. I am a single woman who has purchased several vehicles on my own very successfully. I work and have worked in sales for over 30 years. I know how important first impressions are, that includes knowing your product and how to sell yourself first. I am very disappointed in the salesman I had; he was only thinking about his commission, and the potential bonus or bonuses, he would receive if he were to meet his monthly quota. This was very obvious, due to the fact that he was not willing to negotiate very much on the price. At this point I should have taken my business to another dealership, but the manager stepped in and began offering me incentives, not great ones, but better than nothing. I was told the color I wanted, Cool Khaki Grey, was in demand and any dealership that may have it, would not release it to another. I was willing to select another color, but was told they were expecting one the first or second week of December 2017, I was there the second week of November. However, the question came up in my presence between the salesman and the manager, as to whether or not it was already sold, but they sold it to me anyway. Well, December and most of January came and went, I picked up my new Crosstrek in February. I began calling after the second week in December and was told that it would now be in the end of the month. When I had not received a call at the end of the month, I called again and was given another story. All I wanted was for my salesman to keep me informed, because I wanted to sell my existing Subaru. When I called in January to get an update, my calls were not returned. I sent a text to my salesman, which must have been a sigh of relief for him, because it was easier for him to continue lying to me in a text than on the phone, little did I realize, that he would now find this form of communication his venue to respond to my calls; very unprofessional. All I was looking for was the truth! When I was told the vehicle would now be in the middle of January, I was fortunate to sell my existing the first week I posted it. When I finally was able to speak with my salesman on the phone again, I requested a loaner; I was told there would be a fee!! I told him in a calm voice I had been patient and inconvenienced enough and I was not willing to pay for a loaner. He spoke with his manager and I was granted a loaner without a fee. I picked it up on January 20. My new Crosstrek came in the end of the month, and because I was not able to pick it up on the 31st, I was asked if I would mind if they pre-dated my contract and insurance, because it would help their month! I politely refused their request explaining I was not comfortable with that because I wanted to review the contract before signing. I notified my insurance company and told them not to pre-date anything, and they complied with my request, however, Johnstons did not. When I arrived on February 2nd excited to finally have my new Crosstrex, I was told by my salesman that they went ahead and pre-dated the contract anyway, because it helped their month! This dealership is 35 miles from where I live and work, if I had another means of transportation, I would have called someone to pick me up and I would have left. My salesman went over the contract with me, because he said the woman who does their financing, who I had previously dealt with in November, had something she had to do. However, almost immediately after signing she appeared with an aplology for not being available and congratulated me on finally getting my car. I guess she didn't want to get caught up in the dishonesty. This would have been a much better review if my salesman and the manager, had been honest with me from the beginning. If the vehicle needed to be ordered, they should have told me, either I would have made the decision to wait for the color I loved, or I would have selected another color. So, to all who are reading this review......beware of Johnstons Subaru. I have heard my experience with them is not unique, it seems to becoming a pattern with this dealership. More

They simply listened to my concerns, answered i enjoyed my experience with Johnston's Subaru. Roger and staff were extremely polite and accommodating. They simply listened to my concerns, answered all of my questions, did not attempt to persuade me to by a subaru in any way, and let the car sell itself. They also made a tremendous effort to see that I was able to obtain financing. I'm glad I went here. More

Sexist, Rude, and Overpriced I went in to buy a car, not only are their used cars mis-marked in milage, they do not negotiate prices or price well. I ended up paying only $500 more for a brand new 2018 crosstrek then they were asking for a used 2017. As a young woman in this day and age I expect to be treated with the same respect as my male counterparts and not once was I taken seriously, given a real handshake or looked in the eye, and I was the one buying the car. They only paid attention to my fiancé, even though I was the one buying the car. If you are an independent woman, take your business elsewhere. Roger Homer and his manager were the most disrespectful salesmen we have ever seen. More
