Johnston’s Subaru is our number one pick in the Hudson Valley. We would personally not go to any other dealership but them from now on. In the past we have experienced other dealers and Johnson’s experience has allowed us to see that they are simply next to none. Our salesman Steven B was incredible. His friendliness and kindness are something we will not forget. Steven B was accommodating to fit our needs. He was understanding and very knowledgeable. We left with a brand new Outback and could not be happier. Steven continues to keep in contact to ensure that we are receiving top-notch service. I highly recommend Johnston’s Subaru to anyone who is looking for a new or used car. Johnson’s Subaru is the place to go. More
The dealership is awful! Terrible service center. The wait is always terribly long. Also, they are continuously finding things "wrong" with your car that are not. Just to scam you out of your money. Last wait is always terribly long. Also, they are continuously finding things "wrong" with your car that are not. Just to scam you out of your money. Last week they told me I needed the front brakes replaced on my new Certified Pre-Owned Subaru I bought from a different dealership. I contacted that dealership and after fighting with the used car manager there, they agreed to pay for it. I took the car back to Johnstons subaru and now they told me I didn't need new brakes but instead needed 4 new tires for $900. SCAM ARTIST. Awful people, awful customer service. Take your car somewhere else. I regret buying a subaru! More

I have received f I purchased a new Forester. The dealership put my new license plates on another customers car which that car was registered in NYC. I have received from NYC 7 summonses because my plates are on someone's car in NYC. Johnston's Subaru has done nothing to excepted to give me a letter about there mistake. To the writing of this post I am still fighting with NYC trying to get the summonses dismissed. Have spent many hours on the phone with NYC Violations. One of my tires has been leaking air since I purchased the Forester. I have been to their service department at least 1/2 dozen times . Each time they tell me there is no leak. I loose about 6 lbs. of air every two weeks. More
Honestly the worst dealership I've ever dealt with in my life. They will lie to you about the work they've done, the cost of repairs and the service manager, Julie, will deny everything. terrible service; bought a new (used) car and couldn't drive it off the lot when i went back to pick it up! I asked "We'rent you supposed to go through this before I picked it up???" They apologized for " drive it off the lot when i went back to pick it up! I asked "We'rent you supposed to go through this before I picked it up???" They apologized for " missing a few things". Since we bought it, I put a quart of oil in it every 500 miles. They couldn't wait to get the lemon off the lot... More
