It's a FRAUD!!! I went to Johnson City Toyota to purchase a Toyota Corolla LE Premium they had on their website and on AutoTrader.com. The car was on both websites f I went to Johnson City Toyota to purchase a Toyota Corolla LE Premium they had on their website and on AutoTrader.com. The car was on both websites for over a week and I emailed someone about it the morning that I went to see it. When we got there, a nice young man looked over their parking lot several times in the rain looking for it. After waiting for about an hour, I was told the vehicle wasn't there. I was then shown several "similar" cars, but none had the features or the price the website car. They showed me a car that was almost $7000! more than the one I wanted. After a lot of stalling, they finally said that the advertised car wasn't there, had never been there and that the website car was a mistake. I understand that mistakes get made, but it was on their website and AutoTrader for over a week. At what point does it become false advertising? One of the many people I talked to admitted that I wasn't the only one that came looking for the car, so if they knew there was a problem, why wasn't it fixed and why didn't the person I emailed tell me it was a mistake? They told me they wanted to make things right and would work with me if I found something I wanted. Of course I wanted the car that was $7000 over the original car and they offered me an additional $500 off the rebate price. What!!! That's not making things "right". When i shook my head no, the man scoffed at me like I was passing up the deal of a lifetime. It was very rude, especially considering that it was their mistake. I left Johnson City Toyota very upset and disillusioned. I decided to stop at Toyota of Kingsport to see what they had. They didn't have the exact car I wanted but said they could get it for me. I laughed and said they have it at Johnson City Toyota. Long story short, I got the car I loved at a great price from Toyota of Kingsport and they took the car from Johnson City Toyota. Save yourself trouble and aggravation and stay away from Johnson City Toyota. But if you're looking for a Toyota, try Toyota of Kingsport. They are great! More

Terrible My husband and I went to Johnson City Toyota yesterday and were completely taken advantage of. We are both under 25, and I believe they thought we didn't know what we were doing and could sucker us into anything. We waited over 3 hours to negotiate the price on a 2015 Tacoma. We asked if they had any deals in which Fred responded "We have plenty of deals!". After test driving the vehicle, he prompted us to come inside so we could talk about the "numbers". Assuming that we would be negotiating the price, we agreed to go in. We sat at his desk as he logged us into the system, and said that he would first need to speak with Wade before we could talk about the numbers. Wade came out and asked us if he could try to get us a lower finance rate than what we were already approved for. We agreed, and he spent the next three hours in his office while my husband and I patiently waited at the desk. After three hours, Wade finally came back and said that we would have to pay a higher rate than what we were already approved for and I said "Absolutely not! We haven't even negotiated the price yet, that's why we are waiting!" He looked shocked and said "You haven't discussed pricing yet? Well there aren't any discounts on these, they are what they are! Hang on." After saying that, he went and got Fred, and then Fred said he couldn't make the decision, and he went and got someone else, and then the next man Fred brought to us said they could only take off $500 and no more. We were so frustrated; we left the dealership and went to the Toyota dealership in Bristol, and they found a Tacoma exactly to our specifications that could be shipped in. They took $1,000 off the price, and today I googled the VIN and it turns out that the truck is actually going to be transferred from Johnson City Toyota to Bristol. Much happier giving our money to Bristol since they were so nice and didn't give us the run around... We finished the deal at Bristol in 30 minutes instead of 4 hours like at Johnson City. I would never recommend anyone to Johnson City Toyota. Don't waste your time. They are obviously crooks if they will try to take advantage of two young customers. More
