Thankful for this dealership Given it’s the holiday for being thankful, I must tell everyone how thankful I am for the staff of John Kennedy Subaru. I have been a customer of this dealership for 10 years (4 cars & counting). The reason I always return here even though they aren’t the closet Subaru dealership to my home is because they truely make me feel like family. They have always been honest, fair and demonstrated the highest level of customer service in all areas. I love my Subaru. My son loves his Subaru. Our family loves this dealership now and forever. So during this holiday season, I just want to say thank you to John Kennedy Subaru especially Anthony (GM), Marie (sales) and all the service staff. More
Dishonest or incompetent I purchased a used vehicle from John Kennedy Subaru. The first day of my ownership of the vehicle it is overheating. I call the general manager Anthon I purchased a used vehicle from John Kennedy Subaru. The first day of my ownership of the vehicle it is overheating. I call the general manager Anthony Barone and leave a message about the problem the vehicle is having. my call is never returned. I am able to get in touch with the salesman I bought the vehicle through about bringing the vehicle in for service. I am finally able to speak with Anthony Barone, after several more phone calls, who explains if it requires any more work than "plugging some fans in" they are going to charge me for service despite the vehicle being sold not in working condition. I ask that they not do any service they would charge me for. after 10 days of their shop having the vehicle they explain that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and it is in perfect condition. the paperwork they give me states that they performed a leakage test and the vehicle has no leakage. I take the vehicle to my usual mechanics who find a leakage in cylinder 2. They don't stand by the vehicles they sell and are either dishonest or incompetent when servicing vehicles. i strongly advise anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle or have a vehicle serviced do so elsewhere. More

Easy car buying experience Last month my car was totaled in a highway accident and I was suddenly looking for a new vehicle to commute. After running from dealership to dealersh Last month my car was totaled in a highway accident and I was suddenly looking for a new vehicle to commute. After running from dealership to dealership for a week, I came to John Kennedy to test drive a Subaru Impreza and a Mazda3. Apparently I was supposed to go to Mazda, not the Subaru dealership, but I'm glad that's where they ended up. Anne Davis, my salesperson, greeted me at the door and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. While we waited for the cars I'd picked out to get there from the Mazda dealership down the road, we took a Subaru Impreza hatchback on a long test drive. She showed me all the features and let me test them out, all without being pushy. When we came back I had basically decided I wanted the car, but had to go home and get my husband. Even though we had already talked financing, no one made me feel uncomfortable about walking out, and we wound up coming back just a few hours later with a check. Even though Anne had another customer at that point, the purchasing experience was relatively quick and easy. There was a sense of teamwork rather than competition at this dealership, which made it stand out for me compared to others I'd visited. Anne even followed up with me a few days later to make sure I loved the car. I do. More

Mike Howley in parts could not have been more helpful. He quickly ordered the bike rack, offered to assembly it, and carried it out to the car to explain its operation. Relaxed purchase Made and unexpected stop at the dealership just to look around. Tony D introduced himself and within minutes we were working on numbers. No pressure, no push to buy simply let's see what we're looking at. They offered, I countered, they met me half way and we had a deal. Since it wasn't planned I needed a few mins to call my hubs and Tony gave me his chair, phone and privacy. Everyone I encounterd was pleasant and congratulated me, the guys offered me some of their dinner and I even got to play with a puppy. They didn't try to upsell me, didn't push anything I didn't need and respected my opinions and choices. This was the most stress free relaxed car purchase I have ever made. More
Excellent service I recently had to replace a chunk of the dashboard on my 2015 Impreza. I had used a cleaner that clouded the plastic making it very difficult to read I recently had to replace a chunk of the dashboard on my 2015 Impreza. I had used a cleaner that clouded the plastic making it very difficult to read the temp and time. The service department at John Kennedy Subaru contacted Subaru International and was able to get that part replaced for a song. Their dedication to their customers is not something that I've encountered in the many many dealerships I've dealt with over the years. More
