Honest, up front, easy to talk to and very helpful through the whole process. I couldn’t say enough good things about the general manger Anthony for helping throughout the process as well and treating me like one of their own. 100% will be buying my next car from Kennedy Subaru. Good service but The service work was done and it appears to have been done well - no problems with the work so far. My only complaint is that they were very over-booked. They needed two additional days to complete the work - promised for Thursday but delayed to Friday and then not ready till Saturday. When I phoned Friday for a pickup time, the service manager told me it would be ready Saturday - never even asked if it was okay to delay another day. I had to change plans and appointments - an inconvenience for other people as well as me. And never even an acknowledgment that their scheduling was awful. More

Tom the Service Manager has to be one of the most patient and nicest guys around even when dealing with some not so nice and impatient people. I was there yesterday morning getting my car serviced and witnessed an extremely rude and unpleasantly demanding customer that he dealt with very professionally and didn’t even speak unkindly of when I told him I didn’t know how he kept his calm professional demeanor when dealing with people like that! Thank you John Kennedy Subaru for the many years of outstanding customer service and staffing your dealership with people that care about servicing vehicles honestly and treating their customers with respect. Service Manager Tom is Sexist Tom the service manager was rude and refused to help service my car. Wouldn’t even let me tell him what the problem was. He was all smiles and open ears for the woman in front of me, as soon as I walked up his attitude changed completely. Treating women differently than men because he is a creepy guy. Tom came over to me and asked if he could help me. I had a slow leak in a tire, he cut me off before I finished my first sentence and claimed they were 8 cars deep and it would be a while. I said that’s fine can we get me signed in and started and can I just let you know what happened. He kept saying we are 8 cars deep and slammed, at which point I asked for his manager. He said he was the manager and that I need to leave and they will never work on my car. I told him I would call Subaru of America and he laughed at me and said we are not owned by Subaru so he doesn’t care. Definitely not getting my car serviced at this place anymore. UPDATE This person from the dealership called me, his name was Anthony. First of all, he stalked my girlfriend and my Facebook and social media profiles from what he said. He then kept repeating that he is very sorry and kept making excuses for Tom’s behavior. I asked him how I could trust his dealership again - he had no answer other than to repeat an apology and the excuse that Tom worked over 65 hours over the last week and is short staffed 2 people (later in the conversation it became 3 people), plus his father in law just passed away. Keep in mind this is after I told him I was supposed to be visiting my father who was recently admitted into a hospital and I got a nail in my tire that ruined my plans, a little sympathy at any point would be the proper reaction. Anthony was very ignorant and frankly awful at customer service. He did not listen to a word I said or any of the points I made. I actually asked him to look further back at the footage of how he greeted and treated the lady in front of me, he switched to an aggressive tone and changed his mind from apology to I now believe Tom - CLICK Bye. More

Salespeople who want to help you get into your car of choice I did not buy a vehicle from John Kennedy Subaru but interacted with them to a point that I feel comfortable writing a review for them and endorsing t I did not buy a vehicle from John Kennedy Subaru but interacted with them to a point that I feel comfortable writing a review for them and endorsing them. My first interactions were in 2014 when I was in the market for a sedan whereas most recently in 2019, I interacted with them because of my interest in a Subaru SUV. In both instances, I found the salespeople to be respectful and willing to help customers with their needs to the best degree possible. One particular example of that arises from my experience in 2019 when I was interested in buying a Subaru Ascent with leather seats but at a price point of $35,000. Given the price point of the Limited trim (the first Ascent trim to have leather seats), this would have been impossible but Dawn Litton in Internet sales suggested an option that could have worked for me. She suggested getting an Ascent in the Premium trim but having leather installed on them and in that case, the final price would be close to $35,000 as I wanted. While in the end I decided not to pursue this option (I in fact decided against buying the Ascent entirely and went for the Pathfinder), this was a creative solution to a problem I had and she was the only salesperson who had this bright idea among the several I spoke to. Because I had tested the Ascent at a nearby dealer, I did not end up driving over to their shop in 2019 but my earlier in-person visits in 2014 + my more recent interactions via email and phone give me the confidence that if I were to buy a vehicle from them, they would be able to execute competently and they wouldn't try to pull a fast one on their customers.
