Chris, we're sorry you feel that we handled your transaction as you described. When you ordered the Explorer, you agreed to our pricing, and you signed off on everything. We're confused why you were upset about the Explorer's price. We gave you a fair allowance for your trade-in based on software that shows us what vehicles like yours are trading for in this market. We're sorry you felt differently, but your response was so coarse that we had to close the office door concerning other customers. The Explorer had an issue with the hood, but it was corrected through a minor adjustment while you were here. It was not a defect, as you stated. We also acknowledge that there was a roof rack accessory that you said you did not order. However, you signed the buyer's order that listed it there. We admitted it may have been our keying error on our part, so we tried to come to an agreement to split the difference; however, you and your wife were so upset you decided to leave abruptly and told us that you were going to buy at another dealer. We expected this delivery to be an excellent experience for you like it always is with a customer that had waited patiently for their order to arrive. We're sorry how it did not end up that way, but your conduct made it difficult for us to turn the delivery experience around.

I had no issue with price of Explorer and that isn’t why I left. Russ told me I had to buy the a cargo rack and when I asked Ford they said no that’s not a mandatory factory order item that’s a dealer installed item that dealers use to upcharge. I expressed that to Russ and he said Ford doesn’t know what they are talking about. So which is it Ford is clueless or the Salesman is pulling a fast one. Salesman asked me where I got my price but wouldn’t disclose how he came to his trade in valuation and that’s why I eventually got up to leave. He never came back with a fair price all he did was pull up a 2023 Factory Order. As far as defect. Well when a hood won’t close due to misaligned hood and a non functioning hood pin I’d say that’s a big issue. Not to mention the car was filthy when bought out to me and my wife. Spraying silicone on painted rims and rotors might cause an issues….Lastly when someone asks the question “what’s going on” you inform them and Stan didn’t want to hear the truth and became ignorant and that is why I left. I specifically said from the day I ordered this car to be transparent and honest.I got zero communication from Russ and/or dealership. 3 different delivery dates, ordered parts that never made it to car and no communication about it till day of delivery. I can continue with all of the poor service if you’d like. Car max $31k, Vroom $33k, Carvana $29k and you offered $28k so explain how that’s a fair price. I told Russ his price was low and I understand how dealerships work I was willing to pay MSRP and I was fine with the price of the vehicle. That was never my issue so I have no idea how that became so.

If I was worried about the price of Explorer I wouldn’t have came with a check to purchase. I wasted 2 hours before Russ even sat down to discuss closing the deal. Also blaming a High School Kid for a poor prep job isn’t very professional either. Every issue that came up was someone else’s fault. Thats not how you should conduct business.
