My husband and I have been taking our car here since before Heister bought the dealership. We scheduled a routine oil change appointment for after a vacation. This vehicle was left in our garage during before Heister bought the dealership. We scheduled a routine oil change appointment for after a vacation. This vehicle was left in our garage during the vacation. Upon returning the car didn’t start. A quick jump got the car running again. We added a battery check to the oil change appointment. A multi-point inspection was performed, and it indicated battery health was good. Service department told us that the problem was the starter. We scheduled an appointment for 10 days later to have the starter replaced. We dropped the car off the night before the appointment. I received a call at 1pm that my car was ready. My husband called back to pay over the phone as we would be picking the car up after work and the service department would be closed by then. When we arrived, the car wouldn’t start. We tried jumping it without luck. We had to leave the car there. It wasn’t until the next day we received a text informing us that the battery was dead, and they had tried charging the battery. A new battery was now recommended. How did the battery life go from good to needs replacement in 10 days? Did we actually need a new starter? Why did no one inform us the battery was dead when they told us the car was ready or when we paid? We never heard from the service advisor assigned to us. We have lost all trust in the service department. More
I was expecting the usual back and forth on pricing but was happy that none of that occurred. The salesman was very helpful and friendly. My husband sent me the following day to take a truck back we were considering. I am usually not comfortable talking to a sales person.
