At the time of purchase, the EV tax credit options were reviewed, including the ability to claim the credit at year-end rather than applying it at the point of sale. Once management became aware of the IRS reporting issue, our team worked through the IRS Energy Credits Online system to help address and resolve the matter as quickly as possible. Throughout the process, communication was maintained by both our finance team and management regarding updates, timelines, and the steps available moving forward. While certain IRS processing timelines were outside of the dealership’s control, we did our best to assist throughout the resolution process and provide guidance regarding available filing options. We are glad the IRS has now approved the Time of Sale report and eligibility associated with the vehicle. We appreciate your patience during the resolution process and truly value your business. Our online pricing reflects the vehicle itself, and certified vehicles do go through a required inspection and reconditioning process to meet manufacturer standards, which is what certification covers. That said, any additional products or fees should always be clearly explained and discussed upfront so customers can make informed decisions.
