Great Dealership excellent service! Andrew Shaddox in the parts department was a great help. I needed a part that was hard to find and he was the only one that could hunt it down. Late last year I had an issue worth the car suddenly losing power when I rev it high, and I took it in to John Eagle Honda. I had some after market parts on the engine, (air intake filter), and they wa losing power when I rev it high, and I took it in to John Eagle Honda. I had some after market parts on the engine, (air intake filter), and they wanted to remove those first to see if it would fix the issue. Unfortunately, I also had a hose that was old. This hose failed after I got the service completed, which caused my engine to overheat. This destroyed the engine, and I had to get a refurbished one installed costing around $5000. Honda performed the work, but even though the local service center requested the corporate team to provide some assistance from a financial perspective, none was offered, so I had to bear the cost of this by myself. I don't like that my car was stranded and overheated within about a week or two of getting service. I felt like Honda should take more responsibility for this. Ultimately, they completed the work, but I was left with $5000 or more or expenses that I think could have been avoided. Today when I went for a checkup after 2000 miles, they were supposed to change the oil (since it's a recently installed engine), but the service advisor had forgotten. He was saying I just needed a state inspection. The expectation on my end is that Honda keeps those notes and should have reminded me; I shouldn't have to remind them. I would really like for the corporate Honda team to provide me some compensation, since my engine failed so shortly after receiving service. A hose that is about to fail is something I expect them to detect. More
Great Team. They walked me through my vehicle and what maintenance was needed to keep it running smoothly. They walked me through my vehicle and what maintenance was needed to keep it running smoothly. More
