It was a good experience to visit Honda on Lemmon Av. The service advisor Gregg, (don’t remember last name), was very kind, helpful. It has been a while since I visited the dealership service area. It was more like it used to be — service advisor who knew his stuff, didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need, evaluation of my car service area. It was more like it used to be — service advisor who knew his stuff, didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need, evaluation of my car and service efficiently handled, courteous staff in general. I recently moved here from the Midwest. I know no one and have ~$15K in moving expenses. I take my car in for an oil change and find out there is more service that is required without any p I know no one and have ~$15K in moving expenses. I take my car in for an oil change and find out there is more service that is required without any professional explanation. So I complete the necessary service, trusting what was sent to me electronically. After the service was completed, I inquired why some of the additional services were needed without given much explanation other than it was "needed". I take my car to another Honda dealership the next day to find out from another service technician that the additional services were not needed at this time. So, I return the vehicle to the original to request a reimbursement on services that were not needed. The service technician informed me that he would let his service manager know. He responded the next day and informed me that the service manager denied this request. I politely asked him to have his service manager call me when given the opportunity.
