I purchased a new Ford F-150 from Joe Machens Capital City Ford last week and worked with saleman Mike Rogers. He was very helpful and friendly. He wasn't high pressure, which was nice. Both Brad and John were very friendly. We felt very comfortable talking to them. They did everything they could to get us into the vehicle we wanted for the price we could afford. We came to the dealership with our own financing and ended up leaving very happy with financing through a Machens lender. We were able to get a much better deal than our own credit union offered us, so we were able to add a warranty to the vehicle purchase and were still under the payment quoted to us by our bank. We have been looking for a new vehicle for months and had some bad luck and bad customer service with other dealerships. We had previously looked at another vehicle at Machens Capital City and decided against purchasing it. However, out of all the dealerships we have dealt with, Brad was the only salesman that kept in touch with me and tried to find me a vehicle that I liked. When I told him I had found one that I wanted to see but it was in Columbia, he started working on it right away and it was sitting in Jefferson City the next day for us to pick up. We signed the papers a few days later. It was very easy compared to the experiences we have had with other dealerships. John Brown was the finance person we dealt with. He was also great. Thanks to him, we got the vehicle we wanted for less than what our bank was offering. He started working on the paperwork as soon as we got into his office. We didn't have to sit there for hours waiting. So far everyone we have dealt with at this dealership has done everything they can to accommodate us. Thanks!!!!!!!!!! More

Super customer service! We have purchased three vehicles from them. They have been great to work with. Their service department is also wonderful to work with. My grandson loves to go get the oil changed, h from them. They have been great to work with. Their service department is also wonderful to work with. My grandson loves to go get the oil changed, he thinks the video and pinball machines are the bomb. The cotton candy, ice cream, popcorn, and slushees are just an added bonus. I pity the poor fool who ever tries to take him to a different dealership. I strongly recommend this dealership for all your needs. More

My family had a fantastic car buying experience at JMCC! We had been doing our research for more than a week to figure out which car would be best for our needs. The Ford Fusion was in the top 3, so now it came down to which car could be had for the best deal. Well, Bryan Ehase worked out a great deal for us giving the best for our trade-in. During all the time that we were in the dealership our 3 year old son was pleasantly entertained, he loved the pinball machines, cotton candy and ICEES! The car we bought was recently shipped and had a couple minor scratches, I pointed them out and Bryan Ehase assured me they would take care of it when I brought the car back in. So a couple days later I brought it in and Brian Gilmore from the body shop got it taken care of quickly. All of the staff are very nice and some extra helpful with our children. My hands were tied up most of the time with my one year old and one nice lady (I didn't get her name) made extra effort to help entertain my 3 year old to help out. It's the little touches that make car buying a great experience, and Joe Machens Capital City is full of them. I have to say that my buying experience with Joe Machens has been the best than any other dealership I have purchased from in the past. Matt Wilde and Derek Streeter were so professional and as I worked wit has been the best than any other dealership I have purchased from in the past. Matt Wilde and Derek Streeter were so professional and as I worked with them, I felt that they cared more about helping a customer and not just about making the sale. I had some issues that I had discussed with Derek even before I went to the dealership. I told him I would not want to waste my time or theirs if they didn't think they could help. I had a truck I still owed on and had already been told by another auto dealership, that they couldn't help me unless I had so much to put down and I could not do that. Derek, didn't hesitate when he said "we deal with issues like that all the time" so why not just come in and lets see what we can do. I thought well couldn't hurt but still figured i was wasting our time, owed to much on my truck, had some credit issues, no money to put down and it was Friday the 13th....I got to the dealership late afternoon and Derek was great in helping me find the perfect car for me that would fit my budget and also had great gas mileage. After finding the car, Derek took me across the street to talk to Matt Wilde...I thought well here is the time they shoot me down and say well we tried but we just can't do it. That did not happen....It was getting late in the day so asked if I wanted to take car home, drive it for awhile and then they would give me call in the morning. I went in on Saturday and Matt was so great to work with and I know he had his work cut out for him to get me the great deal he did. Joe Machens has definitely earned my business in the future and I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for a vehicle.
