The service rep. was great. Even so was the help that I received from Mr. Jim Basil himself. After finding out that my wife's car would not pass inspection, Mr. Basil took it upon himself to make sure that received from Mr. Jim Basil himself. After finding out that my wife's car would not pass inspection, Mr. Basil took it upon himself to make sure that by the end of the visit, my wife's car would be in inspection safe mode. All the staff was very pleasant. They took care of you as soon as you stepped in the door. Diane was great! She answered all my questions and was very patient with me. Brought in my 87 Corvette for a noise problem and starting problem. Problem was evaluated in a day and all explantion was given on what the problem was. Sad part of it is and i know it when you brin starting problem. Problem was evaluated in a day and all explantion was given on what the problem was. Sad part of it is and i know it when you bring a older vehicle such as this, it take time to get the parts . Parts where orderd and in a few days parts where in and car repaired much to my satisfaction but they found another serius issue that must have happened someplace else and had a improper fix. Another part needed to be order and 5 days late it was final repaired. Car runs better that it has since i have owened , runs smoother , quieter and more resonsive . I had my car inspected on july 8, 2011. Even with the construction noise it was a fast 1 hour in and out. I did notice a five dollar coupon on their website that I was not aware of after the visit. It took over 2 weeks to get an appointment, dropped it off the night before, so I was not happy when they called me to tell me they had just brought it in the shop at 4:30 in the afternoon. They did supply me with a loaner and good thing because it took three more days to figure out what was wrong and to get a part. Then the same day I picked it up as I was driving home on transit road I hit a bump and one of the things I took it in for, loose mud flap was loose again. This necessitated another trip back to the dealer the next day. They did fix it right away while I waited, but it should not have happened at all if some one was doing their job. I can't say I had a great experience with this service visit. More

I bought a G6 last summer (our second Basil vehicle) and really love my car. I get Red Carpet service-done right and no hassle-from the "Green Team". Have your car worked on elsewhere and you'll realize the service department is outstanding-the mechanics are knowledgeable, polite and treat everyone's vehicle the same whether it cost $10k or $50k. Plus, Basil has early and late hours to accomodate my schedule with wi-fi in the showroom so I can get some work done while I wait. My car comes back washed and ready to go; usually in less than an hour. You can buy a car or truck anyplace you choose, but I highly recommend checking with Joe Basil Chevrolet before you are disappointed elsewhere. More
