Our recent experience was filled with broken promises, poo purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership, Jim Tidwell Ford/Group 1 Ford of Kennesaw. Our recent experience was filled with broken promises, poor communication, and concealed damage. We found the vehicle online and visited the dealership. The tires were in terrible condition, and we made it clear we would only purchase if they were replaced. We also noticed missing cupholder tabs. Despite this, the sales team initially quoted us a higher price than advertised, claiming their “software” had changed the pricing. We were told no deposit was required, yet later we had to pay one. After completing the purchase, we were assured the tires would be replaced. When we returned for installation, the tires were replaced, we discovered a button missing from the steering wheel, it had been present before service. The salesperson ignored our messages, and the service team denied responsibility. We reached out to the General Manager, and he assured us that the General Sales Manager and the Sales Manager would reach out to us with other alternatives, but they never followed through. The worst discovery: a hole in the carpet under the second-row seats, concealed during purchase by moving the seats forward. This was never disclosed and clearly overlooked (or hidden) during detailing. When we raised this with management, we were told they “Did not have the funds” to fix it. Again, promises of follow-up from the General sales Manager and the Sales Manager have gone unfulfilled for nearly a month. We requested a copy of the receipt for the tires that were replaced for future service, but we still haven’t received it.
