Then 6 days After 4 day of negotiations we agreed on a price that included extended warrant, tag and tax signed the papers had the vehicle for 6 day. Then 6 days later get a call saying the paperwork was wrong and needed to come sign again. Come to find out when canceled the warranty off the one we traded in it had a refund of 2000 dollars that they said belongs to them because of the warrant we got which I remind you was negated in the price. after hours of speaking with several people they said BOTTOM LINE SIGN PAPERS OR JUST BRING BACK THE CAR THEY WERE NOT TAKING THE LOSS TO KEEP A CUSTOMER HAPPY AFTER THIER MISTAKE Yes they said it was their mistake. Asked for the customer service manager she never showed up. Asked for higher up never showed up. Got a phone call from a customer service rep said he didn't know how to handle my issue this is not their policy to not have unhappy customers so he will forward to a manager. Issue NOT resolved. I will NEVER recommend jim norton to ANYONE I know! Worse part is since I have the engine for life I have to take my veh to them only for service or that will be voided This will probably be my LAST TOYOTA because instead of being happy when I look at it I am extremely sad. We started looking for a Sienna Van but looking forward our son soon to be graduating from high school next year will be needing a small economy size car for his college life. So we scaled down to a Toyota Corolla at Jim Norton next door to our house. The main reason we felt comfortable going to Jim Norton because of our previous positive experiences with their services on our other family cars which we had it serviced before with good results. Through the help of Jim Norton professional sales staff we were able to finally purchase exactly the car we wanted for our son. Over all Jim Norton delivered an excellent quality customer service and we found that their sale staff are knowledgeable in customers needs and choices. We have already decided to purchase our next car a Sienna Van from Jim Norton in the near future. More

We were treated with respect, and they were very concerned about meeting our needs and working within our budget. We would definitely recommend this dealership to others, and we will use them again if and when we need another vehicle. More

A HUUUUUUUGE shoutout to Jim Norton Toyota of OKC and their salesperson Tommy Iris as well as customer relations person Jennifer Andersen for their tireless help yesterday. Being I was a unique case and their salesperson Tommy Iris as well as customer relations person Jennifer Andersen for their tireless help yesterday. Being I was a unique case and couldn't just "walk" out of there with the vehicle of my choice with ease (I'm in a wheelchair), these two individuals bent over backwards to help meet my needs as best they could. Jennifer literally spent hours on the phone with different adaption companies trying to find the perfect fit for my needs. We finally found Newby-Vance Mobility in Guthrie where we actually talked to the owner of the company, Jim Newby, who was absolutely wonderful to us. Yes, I had to make some compromises, but that was only b/c it was the only options I had with the technology currently available. These 3 people, though, impressed me SO much with their willingness and time to help me. Tommy was more concerned about my needs and saving me money rather than lining his pocket, as a lot of salespersons are, when discussing features I may/may not want. SO thankful for that!! Again, Jennifer was AMAZING in calling I don't know how many different vendors trying to figure out my options. Jim was wonderful, and, though I expressed what I wanted, given his experience in the business, he gave me his professional opinion on options and, thus, arriving at the final product. I am so thankful for these 3 individuals and HIGHLY recommend Jim Norton Toyota of OKC on NW Expressway as well as Newby-Vance Mobility Sales and Service in Guthrie, OK if you know of anyone that may have special vehicle needs as I did. Initially, I was going to have to order from the factory b/c they could not locate one anywhere with my needed specifications. However, I was back in again 01/31, as Tommy called saying they had located a truck with all of the features I wanted/needed, besides color (which was the least of my worries as long as everything else was same). Again, Tommy and Jennifer were wonderful. As well as their finance person, Dawn Moore. She worked wonderfully with me to get my payments down to a comfortable mark, very friendly and very helpful in explaining everything very clearly so I understood every step of the process. I worked with Bobby during my initial visit for the financial part, who, again, was wonderful and helpful. Also, Tommy went the extra mile and actually drove my truck himself to Guthrie to get my needed adaptions installed. I finally was able to pick up my truck 3/7. I had to pick it up from the adaption place, but still had to go to Toyota to pickup paperwork as well as get final detail done on the truck. I interacted with their new active customer service person, Joyce, who was great and made sure we were taken care of the whole time we waited for the detailing to be completed and, again, Dawn was great making sure again I had full understanding of the extra services I purchased, etc. KUDOS to JNTofOKC for employeeing such wonderful people to work with!! I came from Lawton, though we have a JNT here, because of my unique needs. I felt this particular dealership would have had more experience/knowledge for my unique circumstances being a larger town and they did not disappoint. This was my first vehicle-buying experience and it could not have gone any better!! More
I was given the bait and switch by loy on an internet sale. I live in Ardmore and was searching for a deal on the internet when I found a listing for what I wanted on the jim Norton website. The listing sale. I live in Ardmore and was searching for a deal on the internet when I found a listing for what I wanted on the jim Norton website. The listing had 68 pictures and 2 pages of extras. When I went to pick up my van, I was not allowed to test drive any other vehicle. I paid cash for my vehicle, which is something no one should do when dealing with jim Norton. After they had my cash I was given a used vehicle, when I was supposed to get a new one and the only extra it had was rear tv, the one extra I had no use for as I have no children or grandchildren. The van also did not ever have a new car smell. I am a disabled veteran and I was using my disability award to buy a vehicle I could use. I got a royal screwing by the jim Norton dealership and by loy marshall in particular. More
This place is bad and ridiculous. We bought a new Avalon and they did it wrong. Ended up spilling oil all over our drive. Then they tried to cover it up. After a month of escalations they finally proved the car was okay and offered 2 years Toyota care to make up for it. Thinking it was resolved I learned one year later that they never actually gave me the Toyota care. Now the new General Manager and customer relations refuses to correct this issue. Also when we bought it they used sneaky tactics and added in extended warranty. Don't go to this one they are crooked and lie. More
Saw the car listed online and called about it. Was given the runaround of the car not being available yet but they had it listed on 3 different websites. Finally get a call saying the car was available. Wen the runaround of the car not being available yet but they had it listed on 3 different websites. Finally get a call saying the car was available. Went for a test drive and then started negotiating price. We finalize a price and then I was told about an extra $250 charge as I was signing the contract. Left a deposit and a signed contract so I could go to my bank the next day. Came in and had a bank draft and a cashiers check to finance the vehicle. The finance guy ran my credit and said he could get me a better rate with capital one. I agreed and signed the paperwork. Then I asked about what I needed to do with my bank draft. I was assured by him that the bank draft would be returned to the bank the following day. 2 weeks goes by and I went by my bank on other business and find out that the draft was never returned and my loan is still active. I call the dealership and inquire about the bank draft. I was told ohh we forgot to take it back. Then was told they would take it back the next day. But my bank had already charged me $89 in interest charges. Well it was about 3.5 weeks after my purchase and I still hadn't recieved my title. So I called again and was told that they hadn't sent it out yet. But I could come by and pick it up. That it would be at the front desk. So the following day I went by to pick it up. Get there and have to wait 30mins and then finally someone comes out to tell me that they cant give me the title yet because they have gotten the lien release from the other finance company. I asked to speak to a manager as I felt the amount of issues I had encountered was getting crazy and I only had 3 days until the temp tag expired. Some woman came out who was extremely rude and talked to me like I was a 5 yr old explaining about car loans and etc. I'm 28yrs old and have bought 5 cars and know the process. Then they gave me a new temp tag with the promise of having the title to me asap. I waited 5 more days and called again. I spoke to someone in accounting and she stated she would call the other loan company and see if they had sent the lien release and then call me right back. I waited 2 days and no phone call. So I called again and was told I would recieve a call back. Waited another day and still no return phone call. Called a 3rd time and spoke with another person and once again was told they would call me back. So I'm going on 50 days and still haven't received my paperwork to get my title. By far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. More
There is so much wrong with this dealership. My husband and I drove 6 hours to see a car at Jim Norton. When we called we were told we needed to make an appointment to see the car and we would also get a g and I drove 6 hours to see a car at Jim Norton. When we called we were told we needed to make an appointment to see the car and we would also get a gift card for doing so. We made the appointment, (never heard of a gift card again…still waiting for that one) arrived at the dealership and test drove the car. We were given the price on the car but we had 2 other cars to look at before we made our final decision. The original owner actually works here so we thought it was nice to be able to get all the info on the car. Wrong. Both bumpers have been repainted/replaced and even after asking about them we were told nothing happened. They showed us a carfax but failed to mention it had hail damage before. After looking at our other options we called the dealership back to tell them we were coming for the car. It was over the phone we were informed that they had given us the wrong price and the car would actually be more than we were originally told. We were already on the lot at this point so we went in to discuss it. There was NO remorse for what had happened but a general attitude from whom I am guessing was the manager that gave the impression of “Pay it or go somewhere else.” After discussing it we decided that was more than we had to spend and left. When telling the manager this his response was “Ok. Bye.” Again, my husband and I talked about it and decided that this was the car we wanted and since we could not find it anywhere else it was worth the money. We called the salesman again and said if they would fill up the tank and detail it we would pay their asking price. (The interior of the car was terrible. Mulch in the trunk, goo in the seats, who knows what running down the rear view mirror) It was a deal. Then we sat….for 4 hours actually, waiting for someone to be available to do the paperwork. Paperwork finished and it now being after 6 we headed to our car to drive the 6 hours home only to realize they never touched the car. It was still nasty on the inside. We had run out of time and had no choice but to take the dirty car and go. We did not hear from them again for weeks. Finally I began calling to see who our loan was through and when we would be getting the information needed to get our tags. Between my husband and I we have called over 15 times and always with the promise of “We will call you right back.” Never got any information from them. Never got a phone call back. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I will NEVER go back here again for any reason. UPDATE 10/6/13- After writing this review and before it was published, I was contacted through email stating the dealership wanted to "rectify the situation". They wished to speak to me on the phone about it since this site in anonymous. we've tried calling 5 times and left messages. Again we were told they would return our call; we've never heard back from them again. More
