New Truck Purchase Fail I have been buying vehicles from Jim Butler Chevrolet as far back as when they were located on Watson. My recent purchase was the worst experience I h I have been buying vehicles from Jim Butler Chevrolet as far back as when they were located on Watson. My recent purchase was the worst experience I have ever had with Jim Butler Chevrolet. I was interested in purchasing a new 2018 Chevy Silverado, a specific one to be exact. I clearly informed the sales person of the conditions under which I could afford the new vehicle. When the sales person presented me with their best sales price, I informed the sales person that I was no longer interested in buying the vehicle. Then the sales person went into heavy sales pitch, pushing and pressuring me, even after I said numerous times that I did not want to buy it and that I wanted to leave. After four hours, I now own a vehicle I do not like and will not buy another vehicle from this dealership. More
My first new car in over 40 years. Matt Vallee was very knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. He didn't seem to mind some of the dumb questions I had. We drove several cars around the lot before making a final selection. The whole process went smoothly. Matt was kind enough to help me clean out my trade in since I wasn't really prepared to turn it in. Mike in financing was also very knowledgeable and courteous. However, he had to apologize several times for the length of time it took to get the financing completed. My FICA score was 850. I don't know why the financing took so long. I arrived at the dealer about 3:00 PM and had my car selected and priced by 4:00 PM or so. I didn't get to leave until almost 7:00 PM. Three hours for financing seems way too long. Something needs to be done about the time it took for financing. I am enjoying my new 2018 Chevy Cruze in what I describe as Cardinal Red! I learn new things about it every day! More
