Silverado 1500 I had been looking for a truck for several years and I am sure I have frustrated a few sales persons. I had decided on a Silverado but was not looking I had been looking for a truck for several years and I am sure I have frustrated a few sales persons. I had decided on a Silverado but was not looking forward to the buying hassle. It never happened. I met Pat McCarter and he couldn't have been more gracious. He sensed my angst and his low key approach allowed me to wonder the lot on my own checking the colors, models and enjoying not having someone look over my shoulder. He patiently answered all my questions and when the color and options I wanted were not on the lot, he assured me he could probably find what I wanted and get it for me. I said OK and set off for the UK on vacation. I received an email from Pat saying he found exactly what I wanted and it would be held on the lot "sold" until I returned. On the way home from the airport I stopped by to see the truck and the next day I drove it away. I am still smiling because the experience was stress fee and I believe I also met a new friend.
