I seriously put them through the ringer for over an hour negotiating price. They got really, really close to a deal that would work and then I walked out. I showed back up a few days later because I kept thinking about the '06 I had test driven and wanted to drive it one more time. I was then showed an '05 they had just gotten in. I was told they would honor the deal we had worked out the previous day on the '06 but the boss wasn't happy about discounting it so much and maybe it would work better with the '05. I liked the '05 and put them back through the ringer all over again for another hour of negotiating. In the end, they were willing to deal, I got a truck I'm happy with, and I think the guys at Jegs were more than fair. No offense to Ryan, Nick, or anyone else at Jegs but it's a used car lot dealing with used car sales guys, so I did all my research in advance to make sure I knew what I was buying and I took it to my trusted mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. My mechanic found very few problems (some worn bushings and a dirty air filter - around $100 parts and labor), and while I can't speak for any other vehicles on the lot, this truck was in excellent condition. The guys at Jegs we're helpful and accommodating when I did test drives, took the truck for a pre-purchase inspection, and when negotiating the price. I am very happy with my experience at Jegs and recommend this business if you're looking for a used car or truck. My wife and I will be back when she needs to replace her car. More
Nice people, until they don't get what they want. I came here to look at a used car that I was interested in. I did my research before and knew how much the KBB value was for that car. Jegs Motors was I came here to look at a used car that I was interested in. I did my research before and knew how much the KBB value was for that car. Jegs Motors was asking about $3000 over fair market value. I test drove the car and I liked the car. I asked them if the water pump and timing belt service had been done yet because at the mileage the car had, it should have been done already. They told me that it had been done. I asked how they knew that it had been done, they told me their mechanic looked at the timing belt through a small access hole and that the belt looked "new". Now, even if the belt was new (which I doubt), that doesn't mean that the water pump was changed at the same time. It usually is but not always. So to me, without any records or at the very least a sticker indicating that the work had been done, the work had not been done. So considering that the required service would cost me ~$1000-$1500, I offered them a little under what the KBB fair market value was. The salesman was reluctant to even take my offer to his boss because my offer was too low. So after pressuring him, he finally went and checked. Came back and said no, too low. Okay that's fine, this is how these things work. So I offered KBB fair market value. The sales guy went and checked. When he came back he asked me, "do you have all of your things?" I said yes, he then shook my hand and walked off. So he basically kicked me out of the dealership. No answer to my offer, no counter offer, nothing at all. All the salesman's good attitude and friendliness went right out the door the second he didn't get what they were asking. I'm sorry but your car is in average condition, is greatly overpriced, requires at least $1000 in necessary service. What I offered was more than fair. In addition, you don't treat customers the way you did today. Sad really, the stereotypical used car dealership experience continues to persist. More

For a couple of months, I'd been shopping for a vehicle for my son to drive. I've been to dealerships all around the sound looking for the right vehicle at the right price, and I had found nothing I could for my son to drive. I've been to dealerships all around the sound looking for the right vehicle at the right price, and I had found nothing I could settle on. A couple of days ago, we were tired after shopping all day and were headed home, but decided to make one last stop when we drove past Jeg's Motors. To my delight, we found exactly what we were looking for at the price we wanted to pay. I'm glad we didn't give up and go home! Pat, our salesperson, was friendly and laid back. He stayed with us, answered all of our questions, gave us the information we asked for, and was very helpful; but then he also gave us space when we needed to discuss the potential purchase. At other dealerships, sales people were either mindlessly pushy and frantically trying to get us to buy anything on their lots whether it was what we wanted or not; or, at the other extreme, other sales people were aloof and knew nothing about the vehicles they had for sale. Not at Jeg's Motors... Pat was great... really helpful but not pushy. I am very pleased, not only with the beautiful 2003 Jeep Liberty I just purchased, but also with the sales experience as a whole, and the fair price I received. I live more than an hour away, but the next time I'm in the market for a quality used vehicle, I would happily make the drive again. More
I couldn't be happier with Jegs Motors, they displayed stand up customer service, full disclosure with all my questions, and maintained a very friendly environment. For the record I am in no way related t stand up customer service, full disclosure with all my questions, and maintained a very friendly environment. For the record I am in no way related to anyone at Jegs Motors, but I am more than happy to be a part of their “Family” of happy customers. I was in search of a new Jeep Cherokee after mine had been totaled by a giant tree across the road coming off the pass after a long day of snowboarding. Later that week after an exhausting day of jeep hunting I really didn't have any real promising vehicles I was excited about. Then I drove by what seemed to be a diamond in the rough sitting on the lot at Jegs Motors ('99 Jeep Grand Cherokee). It was about closing time, but that didn't stop the sales man Gabe from welcoming me in with a smile on his face. He allowed me to kick the tires and gather the necessary information to come back the next day and begin the buying process. Knowing going into looking for a used car there is always some maintenance risk involved, risk that can even be outside of the dealer's knowledge because most used car dealerships only inspect and insure that the cars meet road safety regulations and normally nothing more (which seems fair to me). Knowing this I kindly asked Jegs Motors if I could do my homework and have the vehicle run through my own maintenance inspection which cost a little extra money, but knowing what I'm getting into makes it completely worth it. Jegs Motors kindly granted the necessary time to get this done, totally understanding with no questions asked. After all was said and done I drove away with an amazing Jeep Grand Cherokee for a screamin deal and I would definitely recommend any family, friend, or stranger to do business with Jegs Motors, they are all around good people doing good business. Moral of my story: USED cars are USED, if every USED car dealership paid to have every USED car fixed to be in brand new condition there would be no USED car dealers left. Do your homework and make smart choices! Thank you Jegs Motors! I am a very happy customer! More
I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Jegs Motors Auto Sales, managed by Spencer Truong and owned by Grant Gebauer. The vehicle I purchased from Jegs had numerous problems and broke down in a Motors Auto Sales, managed by Spencer Truong and owned by Grant Gebauer. The vehicle I purchased from Jegs had numerous problems and broke down in about two months or less. They did not disclose the vehicle's problems to me. The car I purchased from Jegs Motors was not "reasonably fit for ordinary driving for a reasonable period of time." (* Quote referenced from the article, "Implied Warranties on Used Cars," by the WA State Attorney General's Office website) The window stopped working and was stuck open during the cold winter within a few weeks of purchase. I spent about $300 to repair the window. The mechanic then told me that there were close to $4k of repairs for three oil leaks. Dealing with the problems from the vehicle only became worse, as did my dealings with Grant and Spencer. More
