A deer ran into my car, over the hood and damaged things under the hood 2 years ago. We have a LIFETIME warranty for powertrain. Numerous times it's broke down and been in the shop there. A few times they found nothing wrong and we still had to pay for the diagnostic time, even though they couldn't do so. We've had months at a time without my car. We've even taken it to 2 other places. We knew if they kept messing around and not fixing it the engine would finally blow. In May 2025 it went in once again, inoperable. Thankfully we have our lifetime warranty! Final result- could you see this coming? My engine is blown. Now the warranty company has decided that the lifetime warranty is not really lifetime. It's only until they are tired of paying for repairs. The decision was made that they will pay me what they believe my car is worth and cancel the contract. How nice of them. ************************************** Here is where Wyler comes in. They are charging me nearly 3 Thousand for repairs that did not repair my car. Oh and it gets better, the warranty company sent My check to Wyler who is holding it hostage until I pay them 3k!!!!! 🤬 My car is sitting there with the engine out. They said the warranty company directed me to pay them first, then I can get the check. Jeff Wyler Jeep failed me by not properly diagnosing my jeep, and keep it months at a time many times. They failed, my engine blew, and they expect thousands from me, and no car in return. We would not be here if they would have handled this correctly. They made fatal mistakes, then charge me and I'm left without a car and my check held hostage. Currently I'm on hold with the warranty company, it's been 1 hr and 49 minutes. They make this insanity so that you give in and they win. Please share! All I want from them is to not charge me 3k for not fixing my car and failing me. More
You Lied to me about my transmission I brought it over cause I told them I thought my Transmisson was slipping they said all it needed was to be flushed out and fluid changed about 2 weeks after my ser cause I told them I thought my Transmisson was slipping they said all it needed was to be flushed out and fluid changed about 2 weeks after my service was done i was going to Florida and about 6 hours into our trip my Transmisson fluid started getting really Hot and got up to 289 we had to pull over Auto zone ran a test on it and it was throwing so many codes we let it cool off to 190 and was able to drive slowly about another 2 hours till it starting getting hot again and slipping really bad after we stopped and tried to put it in Drive it would only go backwards till finally would kick back in making an awful noise had to have it checked out while we was in Ga (that is where it completely broke done) was told by a chev place that transmission was gone but they couldn't work on it for 3 weeks and we had to have a way back to Kentucky so they recommended to us a transmission place there in Ga and we took to them they told us would need a whole new Transmission so they keep my truck (we had to rent a Car to go on into Fl for our trip) that was on a Monday and they had it ready for us by Friday so we was able to go back home on Saturday so we had no choice but to get it fixed so we could get home a new Transmission which cost us $4000 this was a very expensive vacation due to being told wrong when I brought it into you. When we had to have it fixed they said you all had just put a band aid on it and didn't fix the problem I will not be seeking out your services for anything in the future as I can not trust your mechanics More
I have a 2016 Kia Sedona that Kia motors paid to put a new engine in. I was very thankful to get an engine under warranty. The old engine had a blown head gasket. The problem is Jeff Wyler said if I did n new engine in. I was very thankful to get an engine under warranty. The old engine had a blown head gasket. The problem is Jeff Wyler said if I did not pay $600.00 they would put the old oil and antifreeze from the blown motor into the new motor. They also would not replace the serpentine belt or 2 radiator hoses. Unless I paid the extra. While looking at the receipt it shows all this was done at nc. But than added on at the end if receipt. Parts $180.47 with additional 399.00 labor for parts that all ready had to be disassembled and replaced. An extra $39.00 miscellaneous and 39.11 taxes. Total 657.58 for something that was already included in the engine replacement. Tried to talk to service tech but no luck. Double charging or adding in extra fees when Kia motors is already paying the bill is not the way to treat a customer. More
I arrived at my appointed time to have my 2023 Equinox serviced; oil change and tire rotation. Was told it would take about an hour. About what I expected and I planned to look at the new Hyundai dealer serviced; oil change and tire rotation. Was told it would take about an hour. About what I expected and I planned to look at the new Hyundai dealership. First I went to the showroom to relax and look at the Corvettes. I noticed on the orange Corvette that prep, removing the wrap was not done very well. There are white pieces of the wrap in the crevices between panels. Looked careless and unprofessional. I the went outside to look at other new cars. Nissan is right next to the Chevy lot and I saw two 'Z' cars right in front of the showroom. They are filthy. So I browsed the Nissans on my way to Hyundai and noticed that most cars on the lot were dirty, some with bird droppings, not good for car finishes. The Hyundai was much the same dirty cars, bird droppings. I did not want to look at dirty cars and retuned to the Chevy service department. There was a fellow his corvette service and we spoke briefly just before he left. A few minutes later he came into the showroom and said a warning light came before he got off the lot. I asked what he had done, it was just an oil change. Half an hour later he was on his way, don't know what the issue was. During the half hour that the guy was waiting, I went to the restroom and could see my car on the lift, two tires on the vehicle and two tires on the floor. It appeared no one was in that section of the shop. I expected that the service was close to completion and went back to the waiting. After ten minutes, having heard nothing, I went back to see if my car was still on the lift. It was! Two wheel still on the floor and no one around. I opened the door and all two guys appeared from the far side of another car.. One person asked me if the Equinox was mine and I affirmed that it was. He told me that there was one nail in each tire, and they were waiting for instructions. So I asked to see the tires and he took me over to one tire and pointed out the nail. I aske if the tire was leaking and he did not know. I asked for a pair of needle nose pliers which he supplied and I removed the nail and asked if he had water so we could see if air bubbles would appear to conform a leak. 'Note nail was less than .25" long.'. He did, no bubbles, therefor no reason to not mount wheel on car. Went to other tire, same result. Remount the tires. I returned to the service entry to see Tyson. In the time it took me walk back to see Tyson, he had already been informed that I was back there, and he was just getting ready to come and see me. Was he or wasn't he is pretty much a so what. Although I told them I would be waiting they sent a message @ 9;58AM to my wife's phone saying they were going to remount with the nails still in them, top off my fluids and send me on my way. The video included said' "the tire light was on". It was not on when I got out of the car and turned it over to Tyson, had not been on when I drove to Wyler and had not been on the previous. day. I know when this video was shot, but I don't know exactly when I was out in the shop. Since the video said they were going to remount the tires and send me on my way that it was shot after I was out there. Again 'so what'! I will tell you so what, I saw dirty cars, an improperly prepped car on the showroom floor, a problem with an oil change and I haven't gotten to the topper.. This also relates to an oil change on another customers truck. The customer returned because he had an oil change the Friday before Labor Day weekend, and Saturday, Sunday, or Monday he notices a puddle of oil on his driveway. He returns to Wyler with the problem. The leak was at the drain plug. The service writer was telling this customer that drain plugs and threads in the oil pan are a wear item, like brakes. That is an absolute lie. The proper method is to inspect the drain plug threads, new seal and then install. Fill, run and check for leaks. Fix leaks then release. More
Love the nissan. Don't trust the sales staff including Jim the manager. Rude and unprofessional. I have bought 3 new cars from Wyler. Never had a problem until now.
