Jared Laska was my service tech and I was very pleased with the professionalism he displayed. I've had an ongoing issue with my vehicle that previous techs have not been able to remedy. This problem started while the vehicle was still in warranty. I had brought my car in for an oil change. I discussed the issue I was having with Jared. This was my first encounter with Jared and he was able to not only diagnose the issue, but also have it fixed at not charge to me. I think I've found my new tech to always ask for. More

I arrived at 8:15 am and got my car back at 12:00 pm. I was having the oil changed. There was a problem with the drivers side front door. I kept reviewing the app to get my status, but aside from a 50% s I was having the oil changed. There was a problem with the drivers side front door. I kept reviewing the app to get my status, but aside from a 50% status rating, there was no detail. I finally had to ask my service rep for a status. That was around 11:00 am. He said it was at wash then and I would get it back in a few minutes. The few minutes turned into an hour. After I left I tried using the windshield washers but there was no fluid. My experience in the past has been that you checked fluids and topped them off. Maybe I’m wrong. Since the fluids weren’t checked, then was the oil actually changed? At this point I don’t know. More
The problem I’m having at James Wood GMC is the service department. I bought a new GMC AT4 and on my first oil change o came home and after the truck sit in my driveway overnight I noticed I had an oil lea department. I bought a new GMC AT4 and on my first oil change o came home and after the truck sit in my driveway overnight I noticed I had an oil leak. I drove the truck back to James Wood and informed them of the problem and also that the mechanic noted that he check my air filters and with all the dust on my engine I asked them to explain to me how that was done with no hand prints on the air filter compartment. Also I had caulked the left rear tire and it was noted that they rotated my tires yet the left rear was still on the same spot. The service manager gave me a $25 master card to fix mr problem haha. Now o have to bring the truck in to gave the transmission checked because it is slipping. I’m told to bring it in tomorrow Monday but it will sit for at least 2 days before they get around to looking at it and I get no loaner so I will be without a car for at least 2 days or longer. The service manager advices me of this. So I had taken it for another iPod charge a week ago and xxxx after backing out of my driveway last night I see I have another leak. So we will see what happens tomorrow morning when I take it in. The sales department is good but the service department is horrible. My daughters are both looking to but new cars one wants a Yukon but now she will look to another dealership. I will also be looking for a different dealership as I’m looking to but another TA4 2023 More
