I am extremely pleased with my overall satisfaction with this dealership. I truly believe they listened intently to my desires and put forth extra effort in exceeding them. I would like to take the opportu this dealership. I truly believe they listened intently to my desires and put forth extra effort in exceeding them. I would like to take the opportunity to express heartfelt graditude to my sales person Melissa Smith. This individual is honest and caring, very knowledgeable about the features in all offered products, and considerate of my needs which she understood well. All communication with her was professional, point-on, with respect paramount. I now consider her as "my" car sales person and as long as she remains with the Peter Koch firm, in turn, the dealership I shall do all my business with in the future. More
I purchased a Saturn Ion from them a few months ago through Ebay- yes, Ebay. Then we drove 8 hours to pick up a car we bought without ever seeing. The vehicle was exactly as described in the listing, through Ebay- yes, Ebay. Then we drove 8 hours to pick up a car we bought without ever seeing. The vehicle was exactly as described in the listing, although it did have a clunk in the front end they didn't mention, but as it was used we didn't expect perfect. Anyhow, it was a $100 fix and not a big deal- probably hit too many potholes in NY! Came with a warranty, which was great. We've already put about 15,000 miles on it (we drive a LOT) and it hasn't had any problems. Great car, friendly service, and easy to deal with. Handles all the paperwork for us out of state people and made the transaction easy. Would highly recommend! More

Everyone at Peter Koch CDJ is extremely customer service oriented. Fred Raulston, the Salesman is very helpful, and is great to deal with. Paul Stevens, the service advisor and Chad MacDougal, the Service M oriented. Fred Raulston, the Salesman is very helpful, and is great to deal with. Paul Stevens, the service advisor and Chad MacDougal, the Service Manager and Mickey, the mechanic all are very helpful as well, with fine customer relations skills. I am called by my name every time I visit the dealership by all who greet me. It has been a pleasure working with all departments. If someone tells me that something will be done, it is. I expect honesty and integrity, and I get it, always. We have purchased two cars from Peter Koch CDJ and would definetly purchase others when the need arises. Oh, did I mention that the dealership is almost 50 miles from my home! I'd rather take the drive out any day to deal with such a fine hassle-free dealership! More
Saw Peter Koch on the internet through Autotrader.com. Initially I wanted to look past it because of the distance to where I lived, but then saw the prices. Compared to numerous other dealers, the quality Initially I wanted to look past it because of the distance to where I lived, but then saw the prices. Compared to numerous other dealers, the quality, price, and customer service were above and beyond. They brought me "my" truck to test drive. It did not even seem like you were dealing with a dealership. It was as if I bought it from a friend. Deal with Stephanie and you cant go wrong!!! More
I bought a used car from them for delivery to me in another state. Their ad clearly says that it has been inspected and passes NYS DMV inspection. It has an inspection sticker atached. Yet the power st another state. Their ad clearly says that it has been inspected and passes NYS DMV inspection. It has an inspection sticker atached. Yet the power steering didn't work (leaky hose) and the parking brake not only didn't work, but all of its parts, about $400 worth of them, were missing from the vehicle. Rusted in cables, no brake shoes, levers, or any other necessary hardware. I spoke to the General Manager who 'blew me off', saying that if they put an inspection sticker on it, then the rear brakes were totally functional. It shouldn't cost me $1000 to get the vehicle in condition to pass an inspection. ADDED 10/31/2009 Further to my previous note. The dealership asked that I take the car to a Dodge dealer in my area to supply and install the missing parking brake components. Peter Koch CDJ would pay that dealer directly. The Maine dealer did a one-hour safety inspection to come up with a list of what parts were missing or needed replacement in order to pass a State Inspection, equivalent to the NYS DMV inspection. The failures that were discovered in this "Inspected Car" (Inspected by Koch in early September 2009, bought mid-September 2009, remained on the dealer's lot until picked up by a licensed vehicle transporter October 11 2009, and arrived here in Maine on the morning of October 13 2009)include the following: Leaking fuel line. All parking brake parts except for foot pedal and release lever in the vehicle are totally missing. Both power steering lines are leaking (lost 1 quart in 50 miles). Koch then declined to have the vehicle repaired, and withdrew their offer to supply and ship all needed brake parts to wherever I wanted, and asked me to pick up the labor cost. Peter Koch, dealership owner, insists that the vehicle was properly inspected and passed inspection, and that it must have been the vehicle transport company that removed the brake parts and damaged the others. Koch offered me a 'good will' payment of $400 if I would sign a release and set them free of responsibility. That hardly makes sense at all. If that's their final statement of reponsibility, my next logical step is to turn the vehicle over to the NYS DMV in Albany as part of the VS35 vehicle safety complaint process, where their inspectors will examine the vehicle and determine how long-standing the defects are. Stay tuned! More

I have used eBay.com to buy that car From Peter Koch Chrysler Dodge Jeep(kochcars.c0m ) listing. The car was listed as very clean, good paint. The pictures provided by dealer showed no problems with the Chrysler Dodge Jeep(kochcars.c0m ) listing. The car was listed as very clean, good paint. The pictures provided by dealer showed no problems with the car except, picture of two dings. Based on that info, I bid for the car. I saw the car listing the first time only 20 min before the end of auction, which was ended at Friday 8/14/09. Dealer is located 281 miles from where I live. I had to give them deposit for a car within 48 hours, but since they closed on Sundays, and based on the car's description and pictures provided by the seller on eBay, I gave $500 deposit for the car next day on Saturday 8/15/09 by credit card over the phone to Amanda Brinkman, the contact sales person. On Monday morning 08/17/09 I've ordered independent inspection from SGS Automotive, since I've found that the dealer has lowest rating F on BBB.org. SGS scheduled inspection on 8/19/09. The result of the inspection was shocking. I've received it on 8/19/09. The were pictures provided by inspector, which show the car has rust on Front Engine Compartment more than 12", corrosion on Exhaust System/Muffler more then 12", rust on Undercarriage more then 12" and pictures of rust on the bottom of the car bellow the doors on the left and right side. I called Amanda at the same afternoon after receiving the report left voice mail. Since she did not called me back, I've send her the e-mail at 5.30 pm with pictures of the rusted parts attached asking for my deposit back and stating that I will not buy the car, since the car was not as advertised and description of the car was misrepresented. She replied next day that they would not return my money. Talked to the Phad sales manager next day. He also refused to return my deposit. If they would described the car truthfully, I would not tried to buy it in the first place. They undisclosed the rust and corrosion on the car, and that car was prier rental. They used unexplained abbreviation or jargon in describing available options *NET* and *Gross* and used photographs that did not show a true cars' condition. Updated 11/10/09 I see they wrote a lot of positive reviews about themself, but F - Fail rating on BBB does not lie. Ebay's rating does lie, mine negative review on ebay of Peter Koch was removed. I reported them to FTC, Internet Crime Complaint Center, NY state attorney general and BBB. Please see pictures showing true car's condition taken by independent inspector: http://www.flickr.com/photos/44506566@N05/?saved=1 They wrote to me the following: "One of the reasons that the deposit is non-refundable is because of the cost that is incurred from listing the vehicle on ebay". Now they state that ebay returned them money. They stole my money in the amount $500, by taking deposit for something they did not have. They claimed that they have car in very clean condition, but had Rusty Junk instead. More
Every employee we have dealt with there has given us the run around, and we basically gave them an easy deal. At the tail end of 2008, my husband and I were looking to buy a 2008 JEEP Patriot. We live in run around, and we basically gave them an easy deal. At the tail end of 2008, my husband and I were looking to buy a 2008 JEEP Patriot. We live in MD and couldn't really find the one we wanted, so I decided to do an online search of JEEPs up near Syracuse, NY where my father lives (figuring that if we found one we liked, we could just drive up there for the weekend and pick it up then). We found the exact one we liked at Peter Koch and were so excited, except it had a DVD player. The dealer refused to sell it to us without the DVD player but said he wouldn't charge us for it (which was a scam because JEEP came out with a $750 add'l incentive that same day and instead of applying that to our car + not charging us for the DVD, he simply just applied the incentive and said that the dealer was being great and not charging us for the DVD). My dad went to test drive the car later that week, to make sure everything was in working order, and it was. The salesman even offered to drive the car to Syracuse from Seneca Falls to meet us at my Dad's place. He showed up 1.5 hours late, and the car arrived with interior dirty, smelling slightly of cigarettes (and still does!), and the DVD player not working! Of course the salesman gave us the run around about how everything would be fixed because it is under warranty, and apologized for the dirty interior. We worked on cleaning the car a little while he was there and noticed that the dirt did come off relatively easy, plus we drove all the way up there and didn't want to back out of the deal. We thought it would be no big deal to get the DVD fixed, but, here we are, 8 months later, and this DVD player issue still hasn't been resolved. The people at Peter Koch are very rude in helping us get this resolved, in fact, they don't even care to get this resolved. The DVD is on backorder and our arguement is that we didn't want it anyway, so just take it out, and refund us the money....of course, they won't do it. The salesman begged us for a good review on their customer satisfaction survey, because I think he knows that he really screwed up. Funny thing is, he never sent us the survey because he knew we'd give him a bad review - a really bad one! My dad has worked for Chrysler all his life, and we've only bought Chrysler, Dodge, or JEEP cars. This is the first time that I've regretted it, and where I question purchasing a car from them in the future, and its all thanks to the experience I had with Peter Koch! More
