I took my 2017 Forte into Jake Sweeney Kia as there was rattling from the engine. Instead of looking into the causes, they topped off the oil and said drive it for 1000 miles and come back (oil consumption rattling from the engine. Instead of looking into the causes, they topped off the oil and said drive it for 1000 miles and come back (oil consumption test). They didn't even call me to let me know it was done, I had to call them like 4+ times to get an update, let alone find out my car was done. Less than a 100 miles later, I heard it again, took it to Valvoline (which is what they told me to do) and got my oil checked and had to get it filled up as I burned through 2 Quarts in less than a 100 miles! I take it to kia the next day, they said they needed to wait for a manager to run the Carfax (which I could do from my phone). Even after the proof of 50% of my oil gone, they are still trying to get me to drive it 1000 miles. I'm not risking my life (as there was a class action lawsuit on their engines catching fire), risk getting stranded due to my engine seizing, or doing serious damage to my engine, or spending $25 and my own time every 100 miles (10+ times) to fill up my oil. Insanity. Not to mention the countless times I've called and left voicemails and no call back, they say they'll call me right back, and no call back (just terrible service). I have the bumper to bumper Powertrain warranty and they are doing their best to not service it. And the hoops they made me go through to find all my service records when they could've easily found it on Carfax. Awful experience, will NEVER buy from a Jake Sweeney dealer again, let alone a Kia. Service was quick and very thorough. Staff was courteous and friendly. Have used Kia service for many years and plan on doing so in the future. Staff was courteous and friendly. Have used Kia service for many years and plan on doing so in the future. More
Every time I go there for service they never check and fill air for tires. I specifically told the service guy to fill tires to specs and they didn’t again! Same low uneven tire pressures as when I pulled fill air for tires. I specifically told the service guy to fill tires to specs and they didn’t again! I am very annoyed and frustrated with my experience. I came to get an oil change and they broke my lug nut while rotating my tires. They did not have a lug nut and said they had to order the part. I fin I came to get an oil change and they broke my lug nut while rotating my tires. They did not have a lug nut and said they had to order the part. I find this ridiculous considering they are a service center and they do not have something as basic as a lug nut. So I drive all the way from Covington back to Florence the next morning and they tell me it will be an hour to replace the lug nut. This is the worst experience, I want to cry. I will not come back here. More
We brought our brand new 2020 Kia Sorento in for it's first oil change. As I was waiting for our oil change, someone came out to clarify pricing with 2 different customesr in the waiting area about tire first oil change. As I was waiting for our oil change, someone came out to clarify pricing with 2 different customesr in the waiting area about tire rotation and if they wanted it. No one ever asked me, so I figured I didn't need it yet. Our car only had about 6000 miles on it. As I checked out, the lady told me the total of over $70! For ONE oil change! That was it. We didn't add anything else or purchase any accessories. I reluctantly paid the $70 thinking maybe my husband added something else when he called for the appointment. When I got home, my husband realized what we had paid and we looked over the invoice. We were charged $59.99, when there was clearly a special for $39.99 that he had mentioned when he booked the appointment. They told him that was correct and we would get the oil change at that price. We also noticed on the invoice that we were charged for a tire rotation. We did not need a tire rotation and had anyone asked me like they did everyone else, I would have told them that. Not only that, but when we went out later that day, the service light was on. The dealership didn't even reset that. My husband called someone to help him turn it off and my tire pressure light came on the same day and all 4 tires were at different levels. Not only did we get a tire rotation we did not ask for, but the tires weren't even inflated to be even. My husband called the same afternoon multiple times and the phone went to a voicemail. He called 2 more days in a row and again voicemail. No one ever called back or texted or emailed. I was very interested in purchasing weather mats for my Sorento for over $100. We will not give Jake Sweeney Kia in Florence any more business. I can't believe no one ever reached out to us. They do not seem to care about customer service. We will not return here and waste our money. More

Used car power train warranty is crap. Bought a 2015 explorer with 27k miles was told power train would be covered for life of car as long as they did my oil changes. Went for first service Bought a 2015 explorer with 27k miles was told power train would be covered for life of car as long as they did my oil changes. Went for first service was told battery was bad had it checked two other places tested fine. Then they stripped my oil drain plug. So second service said I needed rear brakes at a cost of $400 and that I had to have them do the work because that’s how they make up there money on power train warranty if they didn’t do my brakes warranty is void. Won’t be going back ever. More
