My wife and I had been in an unfortunate accident that totaled our car. At our advanced age we never thought we would have to replace our car. As soon as the insurance adjuster told us we needed a car because they totaled ours . I contacted Jake Sweeney and they said it had just come on their lot. They needed to check it out and clean it up. The price had not been locked in. Tyrone Glove rcalled and said I could test drive it. I went that afternoon and we took it out and I was pleased with the car the price, the salesman. He sent me to the finance company and we signed the Papers. The inventory at Jake Sweeney really caught my eye. I submitted an application online, and within minutes, I was contacted by the Internet Sales Department, specifically Darrin Aden. What a super salesman. Darrin is the "real deal" for those of you who don't like high pressure salesmen. When he contacted me he told me exactly what I would need and scheduled an appointment for me to come down and meet with him. Let me be honest, my situation was not the best in the world to be purchasing ANY vehicle. Upon arrival, Darrin reviewed my information and went to work. Darrin and the finance managers there seem like wizards, because I was able to drive out with a BRAND NEW car the same day. When I say salesman, that is a title only, he treated me with the dignity and respect everyone deserves when making a purchase of this magnitude. It was truly above and beyond what I had received from other salesman at competing dealerships. This leads me to the point, Darrin is a great person as well as a salesman. No pressure to really buy anything at all. It was more important to Darrin and the Jake Sweeney dealership, that I was happy with my purchase even if we couldn't make a deal. But we did, and for that, I am extremely thankful. Over all I feel the experince was good/great. I think I am still trying to get over what i paid for the car. Tyrone Glover was appreciative and thanked us several times for our business. I negoiated the car with Rob Hall, Used Car mgr. He understood what I was needing/wanting and my point of view. We agreed to the price and as promised, I came down to Cincinnati on Saturday January 11th 2014 to get the car. I live in Circleville, Ohio. The F&I man, was very helpful and nice. My only negative experience was, there was another salesman directly across from Tyrones desk. This man needs a lesson or two on being professional while in the showroom and amongst other customers. This man did not have the best disposition and appeared to be in a foul mood. A black man came up and talked to this salesman that I am referring to for a second or two. As the black man left the conversation, the salesman asked for the "Boy" to came back to him. He mentioned the "Boy" term 2-3 times as the black man left the room. With that, the phone rang and the same saleman answered the phone. He was some what loud in his conversation. During the phone call, this salesman stood up and as loud and he could- coughed up a large amount of flem from the resesses of his throat and then spat the flem into the garbage can. This completly grossed me and my wife out, as it did the other couple waiting for Tyrone. It was disgusting to see such a thing while in the used car show room!
