My only disappointment is the cost of maintaining my beautiful jaguar XJ of 2011. During the last three years it has been very costly for me to maintain the car, however, I want to keep it in good condition and safe. The maintenance video showed clearly the work that needed to be done and the after maintenance video showed clearly what had been done. I think this is a good feature for jaguar to put the customer's mind at ease. Is there any way to cut back on future costs? At these prices it will be impossible for me to keep my jaguar running for many more years and since it only has 61,000 miles it is a shame to be in that position. More
From the minute I arrived at dealership to look at car, They had a porter get car from back of your building. I got to drive it around your building. I was told I couldn’t go on road. It was taken back . The original price was around $19000. Website said payments would be around 370 to 400. I asked Tija to see what I was looking at but do not do hard inquiry on my credit. I was told that they only do that when the car is finalized. I then went to the number guy, as I’m sitting in his office, my credit karma app was going crazy because he hit my credit.He told me that I was looking at a $700 monthly payment. I told him I was only going to spend $400 a month. He then proceeded to try a sell me something different which was not what i wanted.he than proceeded to try every sales tactic trying to get me to buy. I told him that my wife would be very angry at me if I went $700 . He told me that I look like an alpha male and he wouldn’t want to meet my wife. She sounds scary…( that was very rude) and I felt like I was put in a spot because of the hard inquiry on credit. I was getting ready to walk. He sends in the finance manger. She started the same sales push trying to justify why I should spend this amount. I told her 450 is the most I would spend. She said she couldn’t do that and got up and walked away from me making a disgusted gesture at me by turning her head up at me. I Told the sale guy what happened and I was leaving. The sales manager called me later that evening and said he could do it for 450 a month if I signed. I went in the next day . I sat in waiting room for about an hour before the finance guy brought me in to sign the documents. I purchased the gap which brought it up to 470. That transaction was so fast I honestly was struggling to keep up with what he was saying. I’m legally deaf and have a cochlear ear implant. I had no papers to look at. He gave me a flash drive card. When I was told that they brought the car down to $18000. When we got the payment book. It went from $18,000 to $27000 . I had my own plate I know that there is sales tax but $10000 worth of taxes. I know that the dealer really didn’t go through the car and checked anything. I got the car home and the following day, my wife took the car to Port Charlotte and it stormed. Heavy rain . The wind shield wipers and back up cameras stopped working. My wife called me crying because she was scared to death because she couldn’t see. I had to leave work a get my wife. I bought this car for my wife which is disabled and has medical conditions. This was supposed to be a safe car . There are stains on all the leather seats. I brought the car back and your tech looked at it. I was there for 4 hours. They came back to tell me they couldn’t fix it and I needed to take it to a Lincoln dealer. I had to wait 2 weeks to get it into a ford dealership to be told they were understaffed for mechanics. I had them contacted Jim at your dealership. He made an appointment for gettel Lincoln in Punta Gorda. They had the car for over 2 weeks before they figured out what was going on with some corrosion on wires. I got the car back and everything worked great for 4 days , than the backup camera went blank again. I made an appointment to take it back and have them fix it. While waiting for the appointment the camera magically started working again but I wanted it fixed properly because I don’t need to have a problem later. Especially since we will be using this vehicle too commute to Cleveland Clinic in Ft. Lauderdale for my wife medical condition. I was give a piece of paper with part numbers and explanation of what was done and said take it back too you. Lincoln was closing their location in October. They only had 2 mechanics. My wife called Jim. I am beside myself. My wife explained what is going on and our concerns. Jim has been helpful but we still have not heard a word on what will be done. More
