I have owned 4 Land Rovers over the past eight years, all of which I have had serviced through Chris at Land Rover Peabody and three of which I purchased there. The service and sales team at Land Rover Peabody is unparalleled. Unlike traditional dealerships the team is consistent and friendly. The service is excellent and they work to accomodate any and all challenges you may have. From a sales perspective, the experience is not the painful one typically associated withe a new car purchase. More
Simply said Rusty sets a standard that other car salesmen/saleswomen shoul aspire to. I live in Northern Vermont and last year wanted to trade my 2002 Range Rover in for a 2006. I had followed Rusty to the Peabody dealership having purchased from him at his previous place of employment. I called him told him the specs and the timline I wanted to replace my car with. It was duly noted and at the time (6 months later) he contacted me told me of a model with less than 10K on it. We struck a deal and the car was duly delivered to me here in Vermont. The transaction was completed perfectly, he was well prepared to assist me with the registration and was soon on his way back with my trade in. Rusty was a consummate professional in all aspects of the transaction. I made a great buy was delivered a superb vehicle and treated with the utmost respect. I have complete confidence in Rusty and respect his integrity and professionalism. More

Great people. Didn't feel like i had to play games or haggle and that i was getting a good deal. Nothing slimmy about this dealership. Service is also great. I have worked with Rusty for several years and five cars, I wouldn't consider buying from anyone else he understands my concerns for safety, and service. As a Yankee fan from New York City, I certainly approached a Peabody-based car salesman with a healthy dose of cynicism : ) But, I too, have to jump on the bandwagon and give both Landrover Peabod approached a Peabody-based car salesman with a healthy dose of cynicism : ) But, I too, have to jump on the bandwagon and give both Landrover Peabody and Rusty Johnsen top ratings. Primarily, there are no shortage of Landrover dealers in the New York area; it should speak louder than my ratings that I transacted 300 miles out of state. The relationship was ideal from the first phone call and visit, and when the truck was ready, Rusty, indeed, agreed to personally deliver the car to NY for me during a busy time. As but another testament to this quality guy and dealer, I can tell you, in a fit of panic with two little kids in the car on Christmas eve, my car simply died and wouldnt start. There were more lights on my dashboard than on my Christmas tree. I immediately called Range Rover Roadside assistance but the Christmas Eve skeleton crew couldnt help me, short of claiming a "massive electrical failure" and sending a flatbed truck. Desperate, I called Rustys cell phone for his opinion. He took my call on CHRISTMAS EVE and suggested my signs and symptoms sounded more like a simple battery and NOT a complete electrical failure like Roadside assistance had implied. He was right, I got a jump and my family was only 20 minutes late for (a much needed) cocktail hour! (and within the acceptable margin of error considering car failure) Of course, it also made for a great story in the end. Aside from the battery (which was normal wear and tear) the truck has been great with nothing but routine maintence. Rusty and I remain in touch, and I am the first to make a qualified recommendation to a friend. Integriy is NOT an issue here and it goes without saying that once I am convinced my parking garage attendants in NYC will stop decorating my car with scatch, bangs and "dings," I plan on re-uping with the larger RR from Rusty and Peabody despite the distance. DISCLAIMER: I am not sure my garage attendants will EVER stop decorating my car with scratches, bangs and "dings" Needless to say, highest recommendations - Thanks Rusty and team. More
Have had several Rovers over the past 10 years. Key is to have a good point person at any dealership. Have worked with Rusty Johnsen, their sales guy, for many yrs. I turn to him when I have Rover questions and he either has the answer or will get the answer to you immediately. Always reachable and very helpful. The dealership overall is very friendly. The best attribute is that unlike many salesmen, Rusty continues to stay in contact with me and is always there when I have tech questions. He builds relationships way after the sale. Thumbs up! More
