Waisted my time . I called to perform a recall on my vehicle, explaining the issues I have with my right front door and it’s locking mechanism, the service person gav I called to perform a recall on my vehicle, explaining the issues I have with my right front door and it’s locking mechanism, the service person gave me an appointment to drop off the vehicle for few days and informed me that the repair is part of the recall. The next day , the service advisor called me to inform me that the door latch needed to be changed and it’s not going to be covered by the said recall, it will cost me around $1,300 I called Land Rover company, submitted a case , waited to hear from the person I made the case with “Moses” no response. Spoke with so many different people to resolve the issue, no response. Got an email from Moses , informing me that he was sick . After long wait approximately a month or more , I got the final response which is rejection to take care of the cost of the latch . It’s worth mentioning that the recall is about the latch, and the locking motor is inside the latch, so all is in one unit . I have been loyal to Land Rover for many years, me , my wife and my kids we owned five land rovers in the past years . I’m very disappointed at land rever of the way they handled my case . More
I was banned from service center simply for asking for clarification about charges I did not agree i consented to. My regular coordinator was not there when picked up my car. Service Director Randy Yates waived fee and told me not to ever come to his store. I’m making a formal complaint to Landrover Executive. and the GM. This was an awful experience and I cannot believe I was treated so poorly. More
