I actually bought a new car from them, I wish I did not. It was a new car and when I singed the contract it said it had about 5 miles. When I got the car it had almost 300 miles, which is still a new car, but I was upset because they lied to me. I want it to break the deal but they gave a discount of $500. Besides that when they gave me the car keys the could not find the valet key, they had no idea were it went, I just told them to forget about it, I took the car without the valet key. There were other little things that made these buy the worse ever. I told a friend about it and she told me her experience buying a car there was even worse. I would never buy or recommend Jaffarian Toyota More
After having a great experience in leasing a 2007 Volvo XC90 both the sales-service9always accomodating), we went back in to re-do a lease in October of 2009. The past salesman (Alex M) Volvo Sales XC90 both the sales-service9always accomodating), we went back in to re-do a lease in October of 2009. The past salesman (Alex M) Volvo Sales Manager (JC) and Volvo Sales manager (Paul B) were all gone. This should have been a red flag. The new cast of characters turned out to be a great bunch wherein honesty turns out to be a challenge. Much of the deal was done via email, which we thought was a good idea and it was easy, no back/forth in person, no trip to the dealership etc. Terms are negotiated, signed and we go to pick up the car. Car is dented, roof rack is broke............oddly enough, no service team member that prepped the car and or sales guy that was going to deliver noticed. We did after looking at the car for 2 minutes. A salesman later informed us that he was instructed to lie by his sales manager. We agree to take the car and get it fixed in time. (big mistake) Love the car, drive it for 4 months and now the excise tax bill comes due..............this was in the emails and negotiated in as included..........we have this in print. Jaffarians response after 2 weeks of calls............ 1) read the lease fine print 2) emails don't matter 3) you don't want to do business with us anymore...........click 4) not even a good day Anyonelse out there run into a similar deal? O and by the way...............the sales guy and the sales manager (Eric N) are no longer with Jaffarian. O and by the way................3 voicemails to Gary "redphone--service and the customer are #1" Jaffarian have gone with no call back from him directly. While the product is great, I would not recomend these folks to anyone. More
While waiting for information on a new vehicle a large man in a suit was using quite a deal of profanity in front of myself, my wife and my children. The most disturbing to me was that when I asked who h man in a suit was using quite a deal of profanity in front of myself, my wife and my children. The most disturbing to me was that when I asked who he was I was told "the owner". I would never buy a vehicle from such an unprofessional dealership. All the salesperson could do was apologize. More
I recently purchased a preowned Toyota from Jaffarian Toyota in Haverhill, (north of Boston and near Andover, Lawrence, 495). From the first time I spoke with them, to the moment I took delivery, they we Toyota in Haverhill, (north of Boston and near Andover, Lawrence, 495). From the first time I spoke with them, to the moment I took delivery, they went out of their way to help with the process. John the Sales Manager was extremely helpful and courteous. The office staff expidited paperwork late on a Friday afternoon so that I could take my newly purchased Toyota Camry LE home. Service took care of a couple of outstanding minor items very efficiently and detailed the car for delivery. Two different sales people helped get my car ready, put on the plates and had it ready for me to drive home saving me the extra 56 mile trip! I would highly recommend Jaffarian Toyota for your next car purchase or service stop. More
I wish I could say something nice about this place. I tried, I went there 3 times and all 3 times I was lied to. One of the biggest problems I see is that every time you walk in there, there is a whole n tried, I went there 3 times and all 3 times I was lied to. One of the biggest problems I see is that every time you walk in there, there is a whole new staff. I have never seen such turn over. Two of the 3 times that I went in there that Crazy owner Gary was yelling in the show room. One of the other customers even asked him to stop swearing in the show room and he yelled at her and said he was not swearing. Then once he told her he was sorry for swearing he then yelled at the manager saying that they make him act like an ^%#hole. All I can say is they have a great building but its empty inside. More
After selling my car that was paid off, I was told by the Toyota ext. warranty dept that a check would be cut by Jaffarian. I visted the bus manager (Steve Wirtz) three weeks ago and he told me to wait for t Toyota ext. warranty dept that a check would be cut by Jaffarian. I visted the bus manager (Steve Wirtz) three weeks ago and he told me to wait for the final payoff note and then a check would be cut. The payoff letter arrived and I once again visited Steve and now the story cahnges to expect the check 4-6 weeks. This is unreal!. I had the manager speak to Gary Jaffarian nad they told me the same line. I then called the Toyota corp office and was told that most dealerships will cut the check on the spot but some can make you wait as long as 30 days. Word to the wise...get everything in writing form these people because the story changes constantly. And the Red phone..A BIG JOKE!. As I left the business office Steve tossed his business card at me and wouldnt even make eye contact or shake my hand. Boy Jaffarian do you forget your customers 12 months after the sale?. The worst customer service I have ever had with a dealer. Dont be in my shoes, shop where they are honest. The entire check due to be is less then $1800. and they wull keep it in their bank for another 4 weeks. Thanks Gary Jaffarina for NOT resolving this issue. -Never a Jaffarian Customer again- More

First of all, Jose is a very capable and knowledgeable First of all, Jose is a very capable and knowledgeable salesperson. the problem was not with him. I would have bought the car from him in a heartbeat First of all, Jose is a very capable and knowledgeable salesperson. the problem was not with him. I would have bought the car from him in a heartbeat. First off, the trade in allowance for my vehicle was very, very low. They managed to find a lower value than I did on the same websites. Even though they stressed over and over again, "we can beat any ones deal", they were not even close. While sitting at the table waiting for Jose to return, my wife and I were harrassed by another customer. It became so crazy I threatened to call the police while the general manager just sat there with a "deer in the headlights" look. I asked for my credit card and car keys back and walked out with my crying wife behind me. A couple of days later, their Public Relations Mgr. called to see how I enjoyed my visit. He had no idea and apologized. I WOULD NOT recommend Jaffarian Toyota to anyone, who would like the car buying experience to be pleasureable and stress free. However the salesman pointed out, that they do have Starbucks coffee. More
My husband and I went to Jaffarian to test drive a new Toyota. After being pleasantly greeted by the sales associate, we went on a test drive. I went into the dealership after the test drive to get an i Toyota. After being pleasantly greeted by the sales associate, we went on a test drive. I went into the dealership after the test drive to get an idea on the price of the car, and it took me over three hours to get an actual answer from the sales manager. During that time, we met Mr. Jaffarian. He was nice enough to us, but we noticed that he berated the sales representative in front of us. We also noticed that other employees treated each other disrespectfully. It was completely inappropriate and unprofessional, and if they had issues, it should have been handled behind closed doors, not in front of the customers. We had an EXTREMELY difficult time getting a quote on the car, and they made it difficult for us to leave. We were up front with them that we wanted to think it over and possibly test some other cars to confirm our choice. We were very pressured to complete the sale "immediately." While I can say that the sales staff, manager, and Mr. Jaffarian were all plesant to work with, I was not happy with the fact that it took us over 3 hours to get a real idea of what the car costs. If you choose to go there, plan on doing extensive homework beforehand to know what you should be paying. In addition, you will have the pleasurable experience of a HIGH PRESSURE sales environment. I know that I will NEVER be going back. More
I had front wheel bearings replaced on my 1998 Toyota Tacoma at this service center. After 5,000 miles my right front tire almost fell off going 65 miles an hour. I hear a bang and then a loud rubbing no Tacoma at this service center. After 5,000 miles my right front tire almost fell off going 65 miles an hour. I hear a bang and then a loud rubbing noise. I made it safely to the nearest Toyota service center. The cause was the cap covering the wheel bearings was missing and the installation of the wheel bearings questionable. I had intensive damage to the front end because of this issue and luckly, I was not killed on the Interstate. At this writing, Jaffarian will not stand behind their work or reimburse me for this repair bill. Ron was very pleasant and seemed willing to address the repairs, however, the owner makes the final decision. The owner promised to call me within a week, three weeks ago. More
