Bad hub bearing I had complained about Chevy Cruz being "loud" and was told it was the turbo (my 1st experience with turbo). During service 9/18 the tech noted bad h I had complained about Chevy Cruz being "loud" and was told it was the turbo (my 1st experience with turbo). During service 9/18 the tech noted bad hub bearing but I was not informed. Subsequently I had it in multiple times 1) oil change 2)4 new tires 3)Allignment 4)brakes &tire rotation and this was never mentioned to me or on the tech work sheet when pulled by service advisor, Austin. Austin apologized profusely as he was the service advisor when initially noted. I was disappointed that he failed to mention it but understand mistakes happen. What upset me the most is that it had been in 4 times after that and not mentioned. I asked Austin and the Service Manager, Rolly, if it was not routine to test drive after these repairs and they both agreed that it should have. The noise was deafening to the point I was ready to trade car for a different model because I couldn't hear myself think and it was driving me crazy to drive with a loud growling noise at all times. End result was an adjustment to my bill which was nice. More importantly my ride is now quiet and I am ecstatic. If this had not been overlooked on 4 visits I would give Jack Maxton's Service 5 stars they have always been professional, polite, and gave me options for planning service. Randy even went to bat for a repair that was just out of warranty to get it covered in the past. I think we all learned a lesson from this and Rolly started he will follow-up on test drives post repairs. I will certainly ask if the technician noted any problems from why I took it in. I would recommend them to anyone. More
