I worked in a car dealership, so I knew cars not starting wasn't that big of an issue, its usually just a dead battery. Anyway, we picked out the car, were told one price, only to find out that they submitted the paperwork to the bank with a price $4000 higher than what the car was listed for and agreed upon. Since their "finance company is paperless" we were never shown a copy of the contract until it was signed and we got a printed summary. In addition, we paid them a deposit of $3000, our contract only shows $1500 paid. When I called to complain and told them that the paperwork is wrong I was told that they did what the finance company asked. So I asked them what happened to the other $1500 that I paid, and they said they gave me a deal on the car. When I reminded them that the agreed upon price (which I had in email) was $4000 less than the contract, they told me that there was nothing they could do, and hung up on me.... Then they issued us 10-day tags for the car on the day of purchase. What they forgot to mention is that the car would spend the next 2 weeks sitting in their lot waiting on repairs to pass state inspection that they had to do. Now we have to make a car payment for a car that we don't have possession of, that still needs repairs, and we will have to TOW to our home, because they refused to issue new tags. Once we got the vehicle home (nearly a month after purchase) we found out that it needed a new battery and alternator. No big deal, its a 10-year-old car. I replaced the battery, and alternator took it to a mechanic and had it re-inspected since I thought that something was a little off with the car.... The car needs a new radiator (due to rust); there is a porous oil pan which needs to be replaced, and the crankshaft seal is leaking oil. I find it odd that NONE of the mechanics that had looked at this car spotted any of those issues. What is even more troubling is the fact that the car somehow passed inspection with over $3000 worth of mechanical issues... Please do yourself a favor and stay away. We are now stuck in a 4 year loan, after specifically telling them we wanted no more than 2 years, paying for a car that is worth 1/4 of what we paid for it... This is by far the most dishonest car dealer I have ever heard of... More

The day we were supposed to go pick up the car we go up there and they tell us it's not ready to hours later it's still not ready turns out this car had way more problems than thry told us about..... they know nothing about the cars that they are selling and they try an over charge you An screw you out of ur hard earned money.... they are a bunch of the most rude ignorant xxxxxxxx I have ever met in my life ..... my husband and I have never been hung up on as much as we did buy the sales lady Lisa every time we try to call and get information about our car the finance guy Randy is the most ignorant xxxxxxx I've ever met in my whole life! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!! More

They lied to my husband about his truck. We traveled 2,000. We are active military. This comapny sold.my husband a car with brakes that barely work, a hydraulic line that blew and they CUT and WELDED the FRAME. We are active military. This truck is no on a military base in Forth Hood Texas with engineers that have replaced and tried to fix. We are starting a family 2,000/miles away and no have only one vehicle. I am so upset as a new pregnant mother to not be able to relie on our vehicle. He traded in his truck and got this piece if xxxxm I'm so upset. We are speaking to his lawyer because of this. If you are thinking for buying from this place don't. Why would you sell us this car. Thank God we didn't die during the drive from Vermont to Texas. Shame in you who ever sold my husband this.lemon of a truck.and shame.on your company for taking good honest people's money. You make me sick. More

Ripped off, violation of rights, illegal reposession Do not buy anything from these people they took my old plates and sticker off my truck and put it on new Hummer I bought I was supposed to get lower p Do not buy anything from these people they took my old plates and sticker off my truck and put it on new Hummer I bought I was supposed to get lower payments did not I was using 2 trades for 5800.00 they told me I needed another trade I gave them a 2003 dodge RAM quad cab with a new motor worth 5000,1998 Chevy Camaro in mint condition worth at least 4,000 and a 1998 Suzuki marauder cruiser bike with only 8500 original miles on it worth at least 4,000 that's $13,000 at low and at best that I should have got for those trades they only gave me 5800 then the engine light comes on in the Hummer so I can't get it inspected in top of all that the lender calls me up telling me that I'm in default 2 weeks after I buy it telling me that I didn't pay my first payment I said are you kidding me so the lender tells me they are going to make the dealership buy the loan back because I didn't make my first payment here it is January 30th 2017 I received the Hummer on December 17th 2016 I call the lender Westlake financial services also very rude in conciderate with 280 very bad reviews and major lawsuits against them for this very same thing as well as repoing consumers vehicles when they are current and then they don't get their vehicles back so the lender tells me to get the receipts for the Hummer for what it's going to cost to fix it so that it's inspectable ad the agent says they will take no further action untill the documents are received so I tell the owner of the dealer ship this and that my grandmother is passing away so I had to go to the hospital for last words and preparations and this is 2 days ago then the repo guys come to my house at 1:30 in the morning o repo my truck illegally and I heard my truck start up after my dogs starting wigging out ,so I run to the window and see clearly that there was someone trying to take my truck and worse is lamming into my wife's truck with my truck to get out so I ran out side and told the guy TT o get out of my truck so he slams into my wife's truck again and again trying to get out then he pulls forward hitting my Harley Davidson so I open the door to the Hummer and I tell him to stop and get out of my truck he says OK then hits the gas almost pinning me against my wife's truck as the door to the Hummer smashed into my wife's truck doing a lot of damage so I started taking pictures frantically hope I got the pictures and the xxxxing guy TT as less off does not stop or nothing what the xxxx these xxxxxxxx need to be sued hard and they need to be put out of business pierod it's crazy I have never in my life had this type of xxxxxxxx happen to me I'm going to make sure JTS Pays for this and then some and I have no way to get to work and I'm broke and need a lawyer any takers this is a win win lawsuits More

TAKE THE WARNING I DIDN'T!! If there was a way to give this "dealership" less than 1 star, I absolutely would! Richard, one of the sales guys, was actually very nice. I would have purchased a red mustang (in the middle of winter!) if the General Manager's ego didn't destroy the sale. Not only was Randy's customer service appalling, they had the car posted for $1500 difference on different websites. ($6995 on one, $5499 on another) I had a couple of cars that I was looking at and seriously considering buying in the area, but I had decided that the one at JTS was my favorite. I called to speak with Richard and told him that I wanted to be in the $5000 range and he said that he would check with the GM and get back to me 15 minutes later. 45 minutes passed, so I called and I got Randy, the GM, on the phone. I asked to speak with Richard and he said that Richard was with a customer. I explained that I had cash in hand and had been waiting 45 minutes to hear back. He was very rude and dismissive when I told him that I had another car I was seriously considering, but I would prefer to buy the one on his lot. He refused to help me himself, claiming that he was also with a customer. When I told him that I could wait 15 more minutes for Richard's call before moving forward with the other car, and Randy had the audacity to laugh at me!! After ending the call, I decided to drive over there. (Mind you, this was probably 30+ minutes after getting off the phone with Randy.) There was not a customer in sight. I walked in, cash in hand and offered the money to take it same day, no 3rd party mechanic inspection (which i originally wanted), but I did want their inspection that they originally promised. Randy, again incredibly rude, argued with me and said he would only let me take it as is, with no inspection by them... He lost the sale over an inspection sticker!! So after wasting over 2 hours of my time waiting on them, I shook Richard's hand and walked out. It wasn't that poor kid's fault. He's just an employee under terrible management. A couple hours later, what do you know, my phone gets a ring from Richard. He asked me if I had any flexibility on price, which I responded to as politely as possible. (Again not his fault) I stated that they had my offer and after how rudely I was treated by his manager, the next offer they got from me would be lower. I told them that I had another car being inspected by my 3rd party mechanic and I expected to move forward with that. He asked that I call him and let him know how it goes and said he would try to work out things on his end. I responded recommending that he find a new place of employment because he would be much more successful under a manager without an ego that would lose a sale over an inspection sticker. (Supposedly the car was ready for inspection and didn't have any problems.) This was probably a little forward of me to say, but this was after reading reviews on many other sites by customers who had the SAME EXACT EXPERIENCE as me with the GM. Oh, and to top it off, when I originally test drove the vehicle, after pulling out of the lot, the dash beeped reflecting 0 miles to E. Anyone that knows Plaistow, knows it's not that easy to turn around. I pulled over and put $5 in the gas tank... And when I said this after returning the car, they didn't even offer to reimburse me for the $5 I put in their tank... So JTS not only cost me time, frustration and my patience, they cost me gas out to Plaistow and a crisp $5 bill! More

Total snakes Purchased a 03 Dodge 2500 after being shown 3 different trucks. Yes they put on a new rear bumper. However after the month warranty the front bearing Purchased a 03 Dodge 2500 after being shown 3 different trucks. Yes they put on a new rear bumper. However after the month warranty the front bearings went on it. This caused the front tires to go bald.Then the exhaust broke and all they did was sleeve and weld the pipe. All said and done. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM EVER! !!!!!! More

I don't usually do reviews whether good or bad but I have heard some negative things about this place and i wanted to share my experience. I will be honest, i have bought a few vehicles at a couple different used car dealerships and this was my best experience. They did fully service my vehicle and i did have my check engine light turn on a few weeks after. It was for a 300$ catalytic converter and they didn't hesitate to fix it for me at no cost. They also worked around my busy schedule. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. More
