Jerry Tucker is my salesman and is a superb gentleman, very knowledgeable and helpful as well as infinitely patient. Don Baker( service department)is almost obsessive-compulsive with his attention to detail when and if I have any problems. Randy Alexander (service manager)is always striving to make sure I am satisfied. They are all very courteous and treat me like I’m some sort of celebrity. I could not imagine them doing a better job. Just ok I have been to multiple luxury dealers that were all far superior to this experience. Waiting room is small and cramped, people are nice, but overall I have been to multiple luxury dealers that were all far superior to this experience. Waiting room is small and cramped, people are nice, but overall felt I was getting service done at a Chevy dealer, not Land Rover. More
I was in the Huntsville Area when my car stalled. I have a Jaquar XJ8 model. Well they assured me that they would get down to the bottom of my problem, and I informed them that I was in from out of town an a Jaquar XJ8 model. Well they assured me that they would get down to the bottom of my problem, and I informed them that I was in from out of town and needed my car back in a reasonable period of time. They agreed to have my problem figured out by that afternoon. That afternoon turned into me having to rent a car for over a week before getting any information. Once they finally came up with something they explained that I needed a new fuel pump, and the cost. I informed them that a new fuel pump was just installed roughly 7 months before then. I contacted the last mechanic and WE told them the fuel pump could not have been the issue. They swore that the part that the last guy put in was a bad part. So I paid them to fix my vehicle only to have my car stall 8 months later. Now, I am calling them asking them what the issue is, and they are trying to say that it is possible for a perfectly good fuel pump to go bad. Don then says if it is the fuel pump then it is covered under the warranty, and to bring it back in. For what...for them to find another FALSE PROBLEM. Then Don changes his tune and states that if it was not the fuel pump that is the problem then I would still be on the hook for the problem. I reminded him that the past mechanic (who I got on the phone at the time) and I told him that the fuel pump must not be the problem. He started to explain away the situation once again stating that the fuel pump must have been the problem if we were able to drive the car afterward. No two new fuel pumps go out within a year. There must have been another problem, but this dealership with its' 1.)Long Waiting Periods, 2.) High Prices, 3.) Questionable Representatives, and 4.) Bad Service with False Promises...will not be recommended by me. More
In February my 2002 Jaguar X Type died and would not start. After troubleshooting, this service department concluded the fuel pump was bad. The fuel pump was replaced for $1200.00 parts and labor. In start. After troubleshooting, this service department concluded the fuel pump was bad. The fuel pump was replaced for $1200.00 parts and labor. In June, the car stalled again and we paid to have the car towed back to this dealership. After keeping the car for over a week, the service department decided the new fuel pump installed in February was defective. When we got the car back again, the kick panels and carpet in the back seat were pulled up and not properly installed. The grill trim vain was missing where the towing hook screws in on the front of the car. When I took the car back, the service department denied they had towed the car from the front and the shop foremen fixed the kick panels and carpet with a snarl on his face. Not only do these people have the nerve to charge outrageous repair prices, but they also have no quality control or troubleshooting skills. If my Jag stalls again, I will take it elsewhere for repairs. More
I research a new car purchase in DETAIL. It takes months for me to decide, I drive lots of cars and visit a lot of dealerships. I will look in several cities including Birmingham, Nashville, and Atlanta. for me to decide, I drive lots of cars and visit a lot of dealerships. I will look in several cities including Birmingham, Nashville, and Atlanta. No one was as patient, friendly, and low pressure as Jaguar Huntsville. They always wanted me to take a car, even offering to let me keep it for a weekend (I didn't), and offering to leave me one at my office. Wow, who does that nowadays? I wanted some custom LED running lights from Germany, they had not heard of the company but were can-do and ordered them for me and did a great job with installation-at a very fair price. I wanted paint protection film-but they didn't offer that at the dealership, although they knew someone in town who did it (I used Wonderbraa in Nashville because they were a certified installer). Chuck and Jimmy know their cars, and you can tell they really believe in the Jaguar brand. I have had only routine service but that has been first rate also. Chuck encouraged me to go to the R Performance Academy (a complimentary driving school for XFR and XKR purchasers) which was a blast. I have purchased "luxury" cars for 20 years. This is my first with this dealership. So far, it is my best experience yet. More
I bought my first Jag XKR from this Dealer in 2007. Not only was the car awesome, but though I had many expensive high performance cars before, I never had the dealer support like I had experienced at Jagu only was the car awesome, but though I had many expensive high performance cars before, I never had the dealer support like I had experienced at Jaguar Huntsville. Jimmy Bryant the Jag Gen Manager, always took his time to discuss cars with me and really took a geniune interest in me being totally satified with my car. Claudia Webb the Sales person, like Jimmy, would always take time to visit with me when I was having service done. Laurie the Service Writer, always made sure I had a loaner and went the extra mile, to take care of my car (such as putting it inside on the weekend if it had to stay over.)If I called to see if my car was ready and Laurie was out, Don the other Service Writer would never take a message, instead he would go and find out as though he had written the service up on the car. Randy, the Service Manager, has his people excited about what they do and how they do it. They take pride in doing it right. Two months ago, I bought a new 2010 Jag. My wife wanted me to look at the new Audi convertible before I bought the new Jag. A Major part of my decision to not even consider Audi was the Dealer. Jaguar of Huntsville plays a major role in the tremendous amount of enjoyment and satisfaction I get from my XKR. More
