Rip Off John Kneisley in the last week I just purchased a brand new corvette. I had a written offer indicating the sale price of the corvette and accessorie John Kneisley in the last week I just purchased a brand new corvette. I had a written offer indicating the sale price of the corvette and accessories of $65,811.00. I informed Joe the sales manager I had a corvette to trade in. Joe returned with a new written offer to include the trade. I noticed the certified selling price of the corvette and accessories increased $2000.00 to $67,811.00 which I questioned immediately. Joe the manager stated he was able to find additional rebates however, Joe didn’t inform me the additional rebate was for me being a loyal corvette owner. I feel the corvette loyalty rebate should be applied to me as a savings instead of applying the rebate of $2000.00 to the certified selling price for an additional $2000.00 profit. Also after reviewing the sale documents, there is a $995.00 charge that states see page 5 for additional accessories. When I viewed page 5, it states there is a $995.00 dealer price add-on which I was never informed of. I feel these are unfair sales practices. JBA Sold me a Truck With a Rusted Frame I purchased a 2005 lincoln navigator from JBA in october 2016. The night i drove it home it broke down. It took them 4 attempts to repair the vehicle. This morning i went to replace a fog light and noticed the frame has a hole completely rusted through. I came in to JBA today and they said there is nothing they can do since they outsource their work to MR. TIRE. My main question here is why would JBA Chevrolet, a dealer who has been around for 50+ years send vehicles to a "quick lube" shop to be inspected. If you look at their website it states "every vehicle goes through a rigorous inspection". So basically a working man and a father of 3 is now going to be on the hook for an unsafe vehicle that I cannot put my children in. I really hope JBA does the right thing here so I can safely transport my family and change this review to 5 stars. I would also like to add they do many "bait and switch" tactics. The first one is put a super low internet price up and then adds 500 as soon as you get there. They also try to get you to pay a portion of what it cost to get the vehicle through state inspection. The one that truly hurts is the window sticker says "30 day or 1000 mile warranty on ALL inspectible parts". I was told they do not honor this on any high mileage vehicles. I thought going to a true landmark dealership ment I didn't need to take the vehicle to my own mechanic to get checked first. Going forward ill buy from carmax again. They truly stand by their product and don't try to screw you on the price. What you see is what you get! More
Couldn't ask for more. Emailed JBA for a price quote, Rose set me up with Carri. She answered several questions and set me up for a Saturday appointment. When I arrived, I walked over to the trucks to make sure it was what I wanted. As I was walking in.. A salesman "Shaun" asked if I needed any help, I told him I was actually looking for Carri. He took me inside and had the front desk call her. When she came out she thanked for me for coming in and since she didn't actually sell the cars set me up with Shaun and gave him copies of what I wanted and Internet price I was quoted. We did the test drive thing, I was pretty familiar with the truck but he went over a couple things I didn't know about. Went back in and did some paperwork, got my trade in appraisal and got my price which was a little higher than I expected. I asked Shaun and he talked to the manager "Rick" and Rick came over and we found a little discrepancy and got to where I thought was right. Off to financing.. Got introduced to Joe and we did the back and forth several times and I was just a little higher than I wanted to be. After a couple trips to Rick they found a couple rebates and got me down to where I was comfortable. Signed the papers.. Everyone there was courteous and helpful. It took four hours.. But I blame that on myself, I'm very picky and was set on a price I wanted to be at. I ended up with a whole lot of truck @ a fair price. It's the 2nd truck I have bought from JBA, and will be back for my next truck! More
