I can not say enough about the courtesy, professionalism, and integrity exhibited by Andy Dole and the sales team at IRA Subaru. After having weathered a gauntlet of fast talking, less then honest, and high and integrity exhibited by Andy Dole and the sales team at IRA Subaru. After having weathered a gauntlet of fast talking, less then honest, and high pressure sales pitches of sales persons at other dealerships, Andy was a refreshing change. He greeted me at each appointment with a smile and handshake and in no way pressured me into anything. In fact, he and Mr. Garabedian's advice in helping me extricate myself from a sticky situation I found myself in as a result of another dealership's disreputable conduct reassured me that I was dealing with the honest and forthright people at IRA Subaru. I was given a fair offer up front with straight forward numbers laid out before me. Andy and Mr.Garabedian are are true sales professionals and set the standard that every dealership should aspire tool. I have already praised this dealership's soft sell and professionalism to my friends and will continue to recommend without hesitation Andy and Ira Subaru to anyone seeking a Subaru or new car. I already know where I'm going for my next car.....Andy and Ira Subaru of course. I know I can trust them! Proud 1st time Subaru purchaser and owner of a 2009 Impreza Hatchback. I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. I had been at three other dealerships that day and Ira Subaru was the only one where the dealers were friendly without being overbearing. Particularly Man been at three other dealerships that day and Ira Subaru was the only one where the dealers were friendly without being overbearing. Particularly Manny. He was helpful, informative. I was ridiculously indecisive and Manny was patient and took the time to specifically address my concerns. I especially appreciated how he helped me explore and evaluate my options. I strongly recommend Ira Subaru in general but Manny Figeroa in particular for making the experience of buying my first new car so wonderful. I feel confident that he was honest and I am confident in my investment. I am LOVING my new Subaru! Thank you Manny! More
Well my reasons for recommending Ira and particular Ira Subaru include everything from their website right through the signing process. We ended up getting 2 new Subarus, the 09 WRX and an 09 Forrester. Subaru include everything from their website right through the signing process. We ended up getting 2 new Subarus, the 09 WRX and an 09 Forrester. Ira's website (http://www.iracars.com/) made it very easy for me to begin my new car process. They have all the Makes under 1 group, many of which I was interested in.(BMW, Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, and SUBARU!) This made shopping and test driving much easier. I began this without any particular car in mind except I needed 4 wheel or all wheel drive and not another big truck. There was an easy credit approval app on the website (also nice 1 pre-approval for all those different dealerships). This was followed up with a very friendly internet sales person named Shy. She handled the online inquiry and setup times for me to visit various dealers. After some other pleasant trips to other dealers for test drives, I arrived at Ira Subaru and met with Ed Cooperstein. Since I was primarily interested in the Impreza he recommended me to Manny who is very knowledgeable about the car and it's various permutations (Outback Sport, WRX, STi, etc). Manny is super-low key and great to deal with, especially for people who have already done the research on the car(s) they are interested in. Manny was also very helpful letting me and later my wife who joined me test drive several cars so we could really weigh our options. As it turned out I decided I really couldn't live without a manual transmission :-) and after test driving the Impreza WRX there is really no 265 horse power 5-door all-wheel-drive 25 MPG highway commuter car that comes close to it for the price. At the same time my wife ended up choosing the 09 Forrester, perfect small SUV gets all the benefits of an SUV/Truck but definitely still drives like a Subaru (which is awesome). I think we got a very fair deal relative to prices that are being reported by others in the area online for the same vehicles. As others on this site have also said Eric in finance was exponentially better than most new car finance guys who give you the hardsell with the extras. You can get a good price a lot of places these days, however, I think the superior professionalism and product knowledge on the part of the Ira folks (especially Manny!) makes them worthy to earn your business. Sorry it's long but thanks for reading, good luck in your car search! More
I am a long time Subaru owner and have visited numerous dealerships during that period. In my 30 plus years of car buying I can't remember a more pleasurable experience than at IRA. From start to finish it dealerships during that period. In my 30 plus years of car buying I can't remember a more pleasurable experience than at IRA. From start to finish it was a friendly, informative and non-pressurized environment in which to make a vehicle purchase. More
Andy Dole and the rest of the sales team at IRA were fun to deal with. They were responsive, on time, and met all my needs. Other dealers I've visited lately have not presented nearly as relaxed an environm to deal with. They were responsive, on time, and met all my needs. After the deal was closed, Andy and his team only took a day to process everything exactly as I expected and they did ALL the work (set up insurence, registered the car, etc...) More

We just leased two new Subarus with Art as our salesman and Eric as the finance person. Along with Mike and Ed as managers, the entire process was "pleasureable" (as much as car shopping can be). These are and Eric as the finance person. Along with Mike and Ed as managers, the entire process was "pleasureable" (as much as car shopping can be). These are our first leased vehicles, so that aspect was new, although these are the third and fourth Subarus our family has acquired from Ira. Art is not only very good to deal with, but obviously a good person as well, going above and beyond in ensuring that we were very satisfied with the process and in our personal treatment. We hope to return soon to replace a Chevy HHR with another Forester. Have not always used Ira's servicing past (hence, N/A rating), but will be going there with the leased cars. More
I have brought my (automatic) outback sport to Ira Subaru 3 times. the first time they fixed my alternater and said my brakes need to be replaced, and did so. The second time i brought it was a few weeks aft 3 times. the first time they fixed my alternater and said my brakes need to be replaced, and did so. The second time i brought it was a few weeks after the first, because it had trouble going into drive and also stalled and failed to accelerate after a stop, after the first visit. they told me there was nothing wrong. Now about a month later, it practically feels undriveable. It stalls, it wont shift into drive from park, or reverse, it does not accelerate after stopping at a light or sign, and it had also been making a loud grinding sound. So i brought it back. I was told that it was ice behind the heat shield and drive shaft, and the head gasket. Neither of these diagnoses have anything to do with the cars failure to shift. They also gave the car a courtesy inspection in which they noted that my brakes needed attention soon because they were 7mm, when they should be 10. I finally took it to somewhere the dealer i purchased the car from suggested, all he had to do why try to put the car into drive and he knew it was the transmission. now the car that i paid $6000 for less than a year ago is pretty much trash as it would cost $6000 to repair. I've bought three cars (so far) from Ira Subaru and dealt with Fred Armstrong each time, and each time has been a pleasurable experience. Rather than the being the stereotypical car salesman, Fred's a nice with Fred Armstrong each time, and each time has been a pleasurable experience. Rather than the being the stereotypical car salesman, Fred's a nice guy who sells cars for a living and in my experience will do whatever it takes to get you the car you want for the price you want. All three times I've dealt with him I've gotten a more than fair trade on my old car and an excellent price on my new car. I would not hesitate to recoommend Fred to anyone I knew who was looking to buy a new car. The business manager, Eric Feldman, is also a great guy who won't waste your time trying to sell you floormats, or engaging in other tricks to squeeze the last dime out of you. I've also found the service department to be efficient, courteous, and well priced. I've always had my cars serviced there and will continue to do so. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about Ira Subaru or their employees. I'm sure that I'll buy my next car their as well. More
Art is a fantastic salesperson who brings a personal touch to his job. He has now been involved in selling me my new car and leasing cars to my sister and father. We have all found Art to be the type of touch to his job. He has now been involved in selling me my new car and leasing cars to my sister and father. We have all found Art to be the type of person who goes above and beyond what his job entails to make sure we, as the customer, are satisfied, which is why we will always request to deal with him in the future. He really believes in the Subaru as a car and his test drives really showcase what the car can do and how safe it is. He has worked to make our purchases and leases affordable to us, and throws in little extras to make it even easier on us as the customer, always working to make sure the deal is the best for us. He takes his time and does not rush the process, listening to what it is we want. He is also a phtographer and during the time waiting for the business side of things to come together, will spend time showing his photography and making sure we are comfortable. He goes above and beyond and is a great example of the type of person you want to deal with when making a big purchase. I would recommend Art as a salesperson to anyone looking for a car. He is great! More
