I never thought you could characterize car shopping as pleasant and hassle free. I'm very fortunate to have dealt with Art Otremba. From the start, he was friendly, informative, and no-pressure. I shopped around a bit after my first test drive and felt let down by other dealerships--simple things like saying hello, exchanging names, reviewing the vehicle & coming along for a test drive were missing. I came back to where I started & after a 2nd test drive I am now a soon to be proud owner of a Subaru. Test driving the vehicle with Art is what helped me make my decision to buy a Subarau. He helped me understand how the car performs & how to avoid accidents. I truly appreciate the attentiveness, professionalism, and respect that Art provided me and will certainly recommend him to friends, family & will do business with him in the future. More

I was new to car buying through a dealership and Ira Subaru of Danvers couldn't have made it easier. Recommended to Ira through co-workers, my mother, and friends; I went to look at a car. The car ended up not meeting their specifications and it was sent to auction. (Love that they made sure the cars they were selling were not just any used cars, but that they had very high standards.) I gave Art the information on what type of car I was interested in, and heard back from him by the end of the week. Unbeknownst to Ira, I did look at other car dealerships within a 150 mile radius of where I was living and working. Only one car actually fit what I was looking for. However the dealership that I went to, was not a Subaru dealership. (There is something to be said about buying a used car from a dealership that sells only that brand of car.) I went so far as putting a deposit on the other vehicle and having it inspected. After more than a run-around by that dealership and then being nickel-and-dimed by them; I was conveniently contacted by Art, that evening, saying that he had the perfect car for me; which I purchased after his wonderful test drive that helped to highlight the qualities of the vehicle. Art and his fellow co-workers take their jobs with pride. They make sure to contact you only when you are available. (I work in a hospital, and this was very important to me!) They never tried to "up-sell" me on something that I could not afford. I could go on and on about the "old school" professionalism that Art and his manager Mike have, but when you pull into their parking lot you will understand what I am talking about. In the purchasing process, Mike sat down next to me and went through everything that they would take care of on the car, to assure that I would be driving away with a quality vehicle. In short and simple terms, everything that the "other dealership" did wrong, Ira did right with courtesy, expertise, and trust. I love my new-to-me Subaru Forester, and it is the best Subaru I have owned (now on Subaru number 3!) Thank you Ira Subaru of Danvers, Art, and Mike. More

He is an asset to that dealership, as is Gene, Mike and Eric. All combined, they are like a family that works so well together and treats their customers with the respect they would expect for themselves. I love my new Subaru. Thank you guys for everything. I will highly recommend you to everyone I know, and sometime in the future,(if my car doesn't outlive me!) I'm sure I'll be a returning customer. More
Art Otremba is a true professional and I HIGHLY recommend working with him. He answered all of our questions, met all of our demands, and responded to our calls in inquiries quickly and accurately. The business manager on other hand, is a little bit shady. The final price changed by $400 when we came back to sign the finance papers. Luckily we caught the change before we signed....dishonest... The extra shady part was that my signature was PHOTOCOPIED onto the new documents. Unreal. Bordering on theft. We were told "it was only a few bucks a month, no big deal." Ha. Again, Art Otremba is the best. We received our car quickly after we cleared up the price, of course. It was spotless and had a full tank of gas. Art even topped the tank off when we brought the car back for inspection. Awesome. More

Art was very helpful to us in making the decision on buying a Subaru because we had never owned one before.
