Sales is great...service is not. The service department forgot to put my oil cap back on after an oil change. Oil sprayed all over the engine bay and had I not noticed, the engine wou The service department forgot to put my oil cap back on after an oil change. Oil sprayed all over the engine bay and had I not noticed, the engine would've seized. I brought the car back explained what happened and they charged me for another oil change AND actually charged me for the oil cap which THEY lost. The service department is a mess here. I had a pleasant and quick process with sales so I decided to go back to have the car serviced. That was a mistake. My second experience was just as awful! Upon pulling into the bay I was told rudely to sit in my car and wait to be helped. The person in front of me was told the same thing and screamed at when she got out of her car. Learn customer service pleasantries, it's not that hard IRA!! More

Cordial non-aggressive customer service I thought that "customer first" was of the past.!That is not the case with George Valvanis of Ira Subaru. We just purchased an Impreza and felt so goo I thought that "customer first" was of the past.!That is not the case with George Valvanis of Ira Subaru. We just purchased an Impreza and felt so good about it because of the way we were treated. George was not pushy, was helpful and actually made us feel very much at ease. After a sale sometimes the people forget you however I feel confident that if there was an issue George would help us navigate through the fix. I cannot comment on the service department however if the front line represents the organization I am sure they will be equals. It was refreshing to meet a salesperson who had our best interest at heart. I highly recommend Ira Subaru and George Valvanis More
Even though we purchased another vehicle 12 months prior we Scheduled a test drive and the car had no gas. Drove to a gas station and their credit card was refused. It took thirty minutes to solve this as the person sent to help went to the wrong station. At this point we ended the test drive and went back to the dealership. The salesperson and the manager got into a disagreement and the manager tried to blame the salesperson and me. After this there was a cursory apology and a totally dismissive attitude. The male manager clearly had an issue with the two incompetent females. The whole episode was sexist and demeaning. Wrote an email to the General Sales Manager over two weeks ago and have received no response at all. Clearly the dealership cares nothing about customer service and doesn't put any value on repeat business. The treatment we received was totally different than our purchase one year ago. We will not be going back and will never recommend this dealership. The Subaru car is great and there are a lot of other places to purchase one. More
