I was a little worried upon purchasing a used car from out of state but Kyle the salesman from Ira Ford made this sale a worry-free event. Brought our truck in for reinspection (parking brake issue). Entire rear was rebuilt with all new PB shoes, bearings, seals, etc prior to this. Brake pedal was set to go halfway before it stopped. During testing we were informed that the cables broke as tech forced parking brake pedal to the floor. Long story short, we got conflicting stories as to what happened from service advisor and manager. Bottom line is IRA will not repair or reimburse us for the parts and work to repair what they broke. They also won't even take calls from the Attorney General's office as we have a complaint on file with them. We will never use IRA for ANYTHING in the future as this has caused us hundreds of dollars and months in time that was lost. More
If anyone is looking to buy a new Ford or used car, I highly recommend talking to David Haynes at IRA Ford in Auburn. I bought my Focus and the Bronco from David, and he's fantastic to work with. He refers to himself as "your local car man" on his voicemail instead of a salesman, and it's fitting. Super low pressure, let's you move at your own rate. We were supposed to pick up the Bronco on Monday, and ended up going to the hospital instead. He made sure everything was taken care of for us, we didn't have to worry about anything. He called a couple days later to check in and see how we were doing. A great human being, and he deserves the best. More
Today was a disappointment, I went in to return a part because I bought a new truck..... no longer needed the part. I waited about one hour and they could not figure out how to refund me my money, I even because I bought a new truck..... no longer needed the part.
