Nickolai, the salesman who helped me, and Jeff, who did my financing, were absolutely fantastic, and made me feel very at ease, making the whole experience painless - even fun! I'm thrilled with my purchase, and am really excited that my new car falls under the free Lifetime Warranty that Inver Grove Hyundai offers - even though it isn't a Hyundai, or a new car. We walked into Inver Grove Hyundai where we were greeted by Adam Tomerlin. I told him I had to be out of there in 50 minutes and that I wanted to purchase a car. Without a lot of questions he pulled up the model of cars we liked, the one we wanted to test drive was being driven at that moment by another customer. Long story short, the people that test drove it before us wanted to purchase the car that we also wanted to purchase. The manager approached us with the situation and offered us a similar car with lower mileage for not much more . . .we agreed (this wasn't a cheesy sales tactic, we actually saw the people :), the deal was written up and I was out the door with my new car in 50 minutes! Second New Car Purchased Fom Inver Grove Hyundai I bought my first Hyundai from Inver Grove Hyundai. I am retired, so I do not put a lot of miles on my cars. I was at the dealership for a recall si I bought my first Hyundai from Inver Grove Hyundai. I am retired, so I do not put a lot of miles on my cars. I was at the dealership for a recall situation on my Accent GS. I spent a lot of time walking the lot, as my wife and I had decided to buy a new car this year. A GREAT SALESMAN, Mike Siad approached me an was really personable. I told him what my plan was and said immediately; " Let me go put the numbers together and then I'll show some cars that will fit and interest you" He came up with the right numbers in about 15 minutes and they fit perfectly. I quickly narrowed it down to two cars that my wife needed to look at. I picked her up from work and we drove the two cars and picked the Elantra...had 23,000 miles, but was fully loaded for $15,000. Both Mike and the Financial Manager Lisa wee great and we had a new car in less than 2 hours...start to finish! I only have one complaint. My nature is not to haggle, but subsequently I get zero concessions or add ons. I did buy the warranty on the wheels and tires and on the navigation equipment, I was offered MANY other add ons, but no one ever said "We appreciate your REPEAT BUSINESS, so we're going to throw this in or do this for you...nope...the purchase and car is great and so were the people. A "Good Deal" is when both parties agree that it is a good deal. I got no break on the car, I got a $2200 on my trade-in, which is ALREADY on the Hyundai lot and Online Inventory for $6,000! I got treated well and efficiently. I was NOT treated like a loyal customer and I got a VERY AVERAGE or BELOW AVERAGE deal. It is not the fault of the staff. I would just think that I should have received at the very least another $1,000 on my trade or some type of break on the car and or warranties. More
