We were just about to purchase a car from another Honda dealer closer to our home, but they wouldn't quite meet our price so we decided to keep looking. After searching online, I found another Honda Accord EX-L that was even newer and had more safety features and less mileage at Indy Honda - AND at a similar price as the other vehicle we had been considering. By working with Dennis Baker (Internet sales), I was able to reach a price that we were happy with and purchase the car that my daughter wanted. The car was like new and Dennis made sure that we were completely satisfied with our purchase. More

He did not pressure us in anyway and was so easy to work with. We HIGHLY recommend anyone to stop in and see Devin. Thanks as well to Curt Wilder who connected us to Devin when we purchased our 2004 Element a few years ago. We drove from Avon to buy from Devin and we have a Honda Dealership 3 miles from our house! That ought to say something!!! Thanks for making our new purchase EASY, FAST and ENJOYABLE!!! We will be back for our next one as well! :-) More
Expensive Surprise on Certified Pre-Owned Purchase I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2014 Honda Odyssey in excellent condition from Bob Rohrman Honda on 12/24/2015. The next day I noticed a small chip I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2014 Honda Odyssey in excellent condition from Bob Rohrman Honda on 12/24/2015. The next day I noticed a small chip in the windshield on the passenger side. Nothing hit it on the drive home and it was kept in the garage, so I'm certain it was there at delivery. When I called the salesman to see if they would fix it, he said yes and that he would check to see when the best time to bring it in would be and let me know. The next day, he changed his story, saying he did not say they would fix it, that his manager said it wasn't there at delivery, it isn't covered under the bumper-to-bumper warranty, and that they would not repair it. I had been very thorough at looking the car over, but apparently missed this. Probably because we test drove it at night and there was condensation/water on the windshield the next morning when I picked it up. So shame on me I suppose for not seeing it at delivery and being naive enough to expect a car dealer to honor their word and stand behind their product. That expectation I think was set by the Toyota dealership up the road over the last 8 years I've owned Toyotas. I expected the same from Honda as I considered them both to be reputable dealers w/ good products. That's not to promote Toyota here. Don't get me wrong, Toyota has it's issues too, but they almost always took care of problems like this. At the least, if they said they would fix something, they honored their word without backpedalling on their story. So I've learned my lesson. Overall, I think our Odyssey is a good vehicle and I think we'll be happy with it in the long run, although we've only had it for a few days now. However, the sales department there has lost any trust I had and I will think twice about buying from them again. More

Service Department gave MY recalled part to another customer I had an appointment scheduled in July, 2015, for replacement of an airbag inflator which was recalled. Pulled into the service department only to be I had an appointment scheduled in July, 2015, for replacement of an airbag inflator which was recalled. Pulled into the service department only to be told that my part had likely been given to someone who had just stopped in to have the part replaced. Called to complain to the service manager, who informed me that he was sure that had not happened. He said he would investigate the matter and get back to me that morning. Haven't heard a word since. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! More
Worst Ever. At the end of July 2015, we had started looking for a used Honda for my son who was returning to college in a few weeks. We found a car at Indy Honda At the end of July 2015, we had started looking for a used Honda for my son who was returning to college in a few weeks. We found a car at Indy Honda my son drove through the lot on his way to work called me said it wasn't there. So I called to inquire, when I did I was told the car was their but was a mechanics special and needed some work.. and then the comment well.. we put those cars online to attract customers so basically bait cars.. I let it slide, should have known better though. He then said they has just taken in a sweet one owner civic, so I went to see it, ended up taking it to my son who was working up the road a bit. He saw it, drove it and wanted it, so he had cash for most of it so I asked the salesmen if it was a problem to pay the balance of the deal with my credit card he said no problem, ran my card got my receipt and we came back the next morning to complete the deal. Everything was going okay, then the salesman started telling how upset other people were that didn't have a shot at getting the car and the he was in bit of trouble for offering the car so low to us, but because he sells so many cars for them it's okay And that if they put it on the lot it would be 6000-6500 car all day long. So papers are getting signed he takes us over to the main building at Indy Honda, says two managers have to look everything over and approve it before we go into the business office. We waited he came back out and said my son has to fill out a credit application, I said what for he said it's the law, I said for a cash deal? He has no credit what's the point he really gave no explanation of substance. So I told my son not to fill it out they had no need for the information. Then he's gone for several minutes comes back and looks at me and say your gonna love this, then he says they cannot take my credit card as payment and asked me to go to my bank and get cash off it to complete the transaction. He then said because the car isn't going in my name they cannot accept payment from me but they can accept my cash advance from the same card again with no explanation or proof which I asked for them to show me proof and of course they never did, Long story short I told them to exactly what I thought and what they could do with the car. I asked for a refund they got a me a refund back to my card for the amount.. We walked without so much as a word from management anyone other than the salesman texting me with insults that I must not want my son to have the best chance to succeed because he won't have the civic for college. and that because I wouldn't do whatever it took to get the car for him that I wasn't the best father trying to put a total guilt trip on me. My son and I just shook our heads and laughed and how pathetic all of it was. It was obvious they had someone at the dealership that wanted the car for themselves or kid, or simply knew they could get more money out it by putting it on the lot. Salesman also told me that we would never find a nicer car for the money.. Well about a week later we did find a Honda Accord with very low miles, one owner all service records, completely loaded for less and my son was able to keep cash in his pocket. BTW I did follow up with a general manager at a major dealership where we purchased our last 3 new vehicles and asked about the credit card payment issue, he said it's a non issue whatsoever as long as the card is good they can and would accept it for down payments or to complete a transaction. The worst experience ever.. More
Terrible RESPONSE to phone call. I called my local Honda dealer again to speak with the Service Department about a "Recall" for a part for the driver's side air bag system. I origina I called my local Honda dealer again to speak with the Service Department about a "Recall" for a part for the driver's side air bag system. I originally called the dealer February 16, 2015 and at that time the dealer said they would have to order the air bag parts. Not hearing back from them I called them back on April 8, 2015 and the parts were still not in but they said they would call me when they did come in. It is now August 3, 2015 (no call received) and when I called the dealer the telephone receptionist transferred me to Customer Service where the phone rang for 15 minutes with no answer. Finally the telephone receptionist picked up the phone and asked me how she could direct my call! I explained I had been waiting for over 20 minutes now for Customer Service to pick up my call. The telephone receptionist said they were very busy but switched me to Customer Service again where I sat listening to the phone ring and ring and ring. I finally hung up and called back and asked to speak with someone in the Administration office and was transferred to some SALESMAN who said "he couldn't help me" so he transferred me back to the receptionist. I asked to speak to anybody in the MAIN OFFICE and finally someone picked up my call. The person said he would go up to the Parts Department to see if the parts I needed from the RECALL were available and he said he would call me back to let me know when they could schedule to get my car in to install the air bag parts. THAT WAS OVER 45 MINUTES AGO................................................... Excuse me my phone is ringing.......what's that you're saying???? You have the parts??? but you can't put them in until August 14th????? I've waited five (5) and a half months so far, I guess two (2) more weeks of unprotected driving won't matter much, I hope! No more sales here. More
Couldn't talk to anyone to make an appointment. Called twice to try to make an appointment. I was put on a completely silent hold for a while - kept checking my phone to make sure I hadn't been dis Called twice to try to make an appointment. I was put on a completely silent hold for a while - kept checking my phone to make sure I hadn't been disconnected. Then, someone picked up and transferred me again, where it rang about 15 times and someone picked up the line to immediately disconnect me. I had to call back, and was immediately put on the long never-ending silent hold again. This time someone told me that they must be busy and can't take the call, so he wanted my number so someone could call me back when they got a chance. ugh.....no thanks. I guess they don't need my business. Lousy customer service from the get-go is not a good sign of things to come. More
