My Fiance recently purchased a '03 Honda Accord from Imports Ltd. After ONE week it stopped working completely, He took it to a mechanic who told him the entire transmission was bad and he would have to Imports Ltd. After ONE week it stopped working completely, He took it to a mechanic who told him the entire transmission was bad and he would have to get it replaced. Transmission work is no little expense- the estimate was $3,000.00. This is over half of what he paid for the car in the first place. He immediately called the dealer and they said there was no way the car could have that problem so he should take it to their mechanic to have it looked at. My fiance paid another 100 dollars to have it looked at by their mechanic. The result was an estimate higher than the first one. After this estimate, the dealership did nothing. We called back day after day and just kept getting "Oh the person you need is on lunch, just left for the day, stepped out of the office...etc." We were told we would get called back, but after 2 months we gave up. We contacted the financing company about the problem and they informed us the dealership said they 'were cussed out after offering us a great deal.' This might have been possible if they ever talked to us on the phone. Which they didn't. In the end, First Financial Credit Union was a BIG help, but my fiance still had to pay all the money out of his own bank account. I definitely would not advise doing any kind of business with Imports Limited. More

My father had been telling me dont forget about Imports when looking for a Foreign car for a great price. Corey, the salesman, was so nice and positive. There was no fast talking or haggling. I told him about my credit situation and what I was trying to do in life, he listened to me gave me valuable information on how to bring my credit up and he didnt make me feel bad about my current credit score. He got the deal done for me and I signed for my car friday, I will pick my car up tomorrow I am happy and excited. I believe everyone should go to Imports.Several of my friends were in the dealership when I was there and we didnt even know that we were both in need of cars. I said that to say its obvious that great minds think alike!! More

My first impressions. Jim Michaels, the General Manager is a lying, cheating xxx. Jeff Giesler, the Internet Manager is a rather odd fellow. He puts his picture on the used car postings. A photo that my is a lying, cheating xxx. Jeff Giesler, the Internet Manager is a rather odd fellow. He puts his picture on the used car postings. A photo that my girlfriend commented was "creepy". It fits. He is a creep who will do nothing for you, except take your money. Even has the audacity to charge you for a temporary tag, which I have to wonder if it is legal to do under Missouri law. Corey Bond the salesman was nice enough, but forget it if you expect a return call or email from this guy. He mainly seems interested in getting you out the door. And he will do nothing for you after the sale. Oh and the owner's manual that he promised me still has not arrived. I flew into St Louis to purchase a used car from these guys. Spoke at length with the General Manager Jim Michaels who said vehicle only had one flaw. Purchased auto that was disclosed as having passed MO state emissions and mechanical inspection. Vehicle was observed many miles later to have oil leaks, burns oil and has brake problems that would have been discovered in state inspection and caused vehicle to fail said inspection. In addition, oil cooler was not properly attached to the car and fell off on the return trip to New Mexico, dumping all the oil in the road. Vehicle was in previous accident that was disclosed, however general manager claimed that vehicle was professionally repaired and undetectable to average person. Further inspection by my local mechanic reveals that repair work was shoddy and in some case, parts were beat with a hammer to put them back together. Besides the disclosed flaws, he claimed that this vehicle had no other defects of a mechanical or cosmetic nature and would safely make the return trip to New Mexico. He also told me he personally drove the car for a month and a half and it was near perfect. He is an out and out liar. Do not trust this man. Get someone to do a pre-purchase inspection before you buy anything. But do not expect them to take the car to someone to do an inspection. Jim Michaels flatly refused and mumbled something about insurance. This dealership epitomizes the bad reputation that many used car dealers have. They have not responded in any way to my calls to resolve these problems. I have filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney Generals office. Maybe that will get their attention. More
WOW! Where to start...I live in Kirkwood, and saw a Mercedes Wagon on the internet. I have to be honest I did not think I would be a guy going to the a used car lot in the city to buy a car...but I th Mercedes Wagon on the internet. I have to be honest I did not think I would be a guy going to the a used car lot in the city to buy a car...but I thought what they hay, I'll take a chance. I must say, 10,000 miles later am I ever glad that I did. I got a great Mercedes at a very fair price. I went and looked and Jeff was so nice to me and my wife... the dealership is clean, the cars are really nice, the guys are fun to work with and man did I get a lot of car for the money. Safety and reliability are important to me, so I was thinking Mercedes for my wife and small children....but I'm also on a budget. Imports came through and I got a great 2002 E320 Wagon with 64,000 miles (now about 75,000) and we have been thrilled. Jeff showed me all the safety features, the car was clean, and inspected. Even if we had not been able to afford the Mercedes, Imports Limited had a lot of other cars...(and they all were clean)that I would be proud to own. I have told my neighbors to go to Imports...you get a great car, treated well, and you wont pay to much. We have had or E320 Wagon almost a year, and I have waited to write this review to make sure my wife and I were totally satisfied...and we are. I highly reccomend Imports Limited for your next car. they are shady, shifty disreputable scam artist, they will sell a car for thousands that they know is not worth too dead flies, and offer to take it back in trade on something better. sold me a car as is of c sell a car for thousands that they know is not worth too dead flies, and offer to take it back in trade on something better. sold me a car as is of course an infiniti i30 01 a steal just $4,104 purchased it aug 26,10 it ran for maybe 45 days and died. codes had been erased just long enough topass inspection. I've spent over a 1500 in tires radiator, sensor, maf, towing, mechanic fees diagnostics, last one at plaza motors the repairs would be a mere 3000. so import limited knew this car was no good, but they saw a senior 71 year old female and believe me they took every precaution to avoid my returning the car. I saved to buy a car only to be robbed by this shady car lot it has cost almost $5500 to ride for about 45 days. people stay away its a con game a sleazy used car lot.Oh there is a lot of shady business going on there.car didn't pass inspection engine light off period. they got it on, got a inspection sticker in 15 minutes. I am sending them to jefferson city with the numbers and the details. and requesting a picture of the car inspected for these sticker numbers. I am also going to file a complaint with the attorney general and the BBB and troop c. I am going to blog and put it on face-book as well. iff I can prevent this trespass from happening to anyone young or especially a senior. then I will have some form of justiice. NEVER BUY AS IS. THERE IS NO HONOR AMONG THESE THIEVES. More
This has to be one of the worst dealerships in the country! Expect to be lied to and expect to be stuck with extensive repairs. Run away from these people! This is a salvage yard in disguise! I pu country! Expect to be lied to and expect to be stuck with extensive repairs. Run away from these people! This is a salvage yard in disguise! I purchased a 2005 Audi S4 and was assured it was in great shape. Jim, the lying wormy sales guy said it was a 'red rocket'. I came to find out (after taking it to the Audi dealer for service) that the #5 cylinder bore was scored, requiring an engine replacement. That is a 24K job from the dealership. Minimum it is costing me $10K for a used engine + labor to install. I talked with Jeff and Jim and was eventually told that nothing would be done. These people are criminals! Google this dealership and you will see the horrible reviews! Trust me you want nothing to do with these people. I can't believe they haven't been shut down. I have contacted the BBB and MO state atty generals office, but I don't expect anything to be done. Jim, the lying, wormy individual he is, suggested that the Audi dealership was making it up, but the compression was down to 50psi, plug was fouled with oil, and borascope inspection showed deep scoring on the cylinder wall. I recently purchased a 2000 Cadillac Deville from Imports Limited. Jeff was the sales person with whom I worked. He was friendly and helpful in working with me. Imports Limited was able to secure financin Limited. Jeff was the sales person with whom I worked. He was friendly and helpful in working with me. Imports Limited was able to secure financing locally for my purchase even with my poor credit. Jeff was also able to give me a listing of vehicles that would qualify for the loan the lender was willing to make. I was very pleased with the 2000 Deville as it only had 86,000 miles and was in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the day after the purchase the Service Engine Light came on. I looked online how to run the onboard diagnostic system for this car and discovered that they car had two trouble codes for a common problem with this year and model of Cadillac. Unfortunately, I had not had a diagnostic run before the purchase and bought the car "As Is". I was of course very upset with myself for "rushing" in on the purchase. I took the car to an independent shop and they confirmed my fears. On top of this, the estimate for repairs was $2800!!! I went back to Jeff at Imports Limited the next day. He instructed me to not register the car yet or have any repairwork done. He asked me to bring the car back so that they could have one of their preferred auto shops take a look at the car. I brought the car back and sure enough their shop confirmed that there was an issue. Jeff let me know that they wanted to work with me to resolve the issue. I was very relieved because I had purchased the vehicle "As Is" and fully understand what that entails. Imports Limited negotiated a price for the repairs needed with a Transmission Shop that was very familiar with the repairs needed for my 2000 Deville. Imports Limited agreed to cover half of the cost of repairs and had even offered to pay for half of the cost for a rental during the time of repairs. I picked up my car yesterday. The Service Engine Light is off and the shop gave me a receipt with the documentation of repairs done on the vehicle. I am very satisfied with the work, the vehicle, and the dealership. I would definitely go back to Imports Limited to purchase another vehicle in the future and I have no qualms about recommending this dealership to anyone searching for a Used car or truck. They have quality vehicles at reasonable pricing. In addition, they are able to secure financing for people who can afford a car payment that have less than perfect credit. My experience was a positive one and I wanted to share it so that others could make an informed decision. More
Salesman lied to me several times and when I called him out on it, he just looked down like it's what car salesmen do. Never allow any dealership to run your credit before taking a test drive, otherwise y out on it, he just looked down like it's what car salesmen do. Never allow any dealership to run your credit before taking a test drive, otherwise you would have many hits on your credit if shopping several lots. I told Michael over 10 times that he could not run my credit without my driving and settling on a vehicle I was interested in buying. He then proceeding to obtain the key to the vehicle I wanted to test drive, but before driving, he asked my to sign an insurance statements, which I wouldn't have minded doing, except that in very small print there was also an authorization to run my credit. I called him a fat lying xxxxxxx and left. I will never go back to this dealership again. I wonder what else they are lying and misleading about. More
