I sincerely hope people READ THIS! IT WILL SAVE YOU $1000's, and a lot of time!!! This is a VERY CORRUPT dealership. Sold me a severely damaged unsafe vehicle at high Blue Book cost IT WILL SAVE YOU $1000's, and a lot of time!!! This is a VERY CORRUPT dealership. Sold me a severely damaged unsafe vehicle at high Blue Book cost. The 2012 Chevy Colorado, 71867 miles, for sale at just under high Blue Book value was not sellable in the condition they offered it to me. Since I was buying from out of State they required a cashier's check with full payment to hold the car so I could come and see it. I paid the purchase price and flew to Mesa Arizona to inspect the car. During the inspection I noted a surging in the engine as it idled. The salesperson told me "all cars sound differently" to which I replied let's just check for codes. The code found subsequently required a timing chain replacement. They did change the timing chain but in the process left the vehicle not completely assembled. The oil pan was broken during removal, the drain plug was leaking oil, the rack and pinion steering assembly was leaking, the fuel lines were not connected to the holding assembly, the brake line on the passenger side was bent and kinked (which is dangerous and likely to render a fluid leak), the fan shroud was unattached and bouncing into the fan when I test drove it, the battery was not tied down, one of the electronic modules was left hanging by its wiring in the engine bay, there was loose and missing hardware in several locations. There is too much to describe on this thread. When confronted about the condition of the vehicle the dealership refused to help with any of the repairs! Worst dealership, maintenance facility and business practices I've ever encountered in my life. Please do yourself a favor do not buy from Ideal Cars anywhere in Arizona or in the united states. This is a culture problem probably extending throughout the corporate environment. Just don't go there. October 30, 2022 was the original purchase date. This is an update. I've poured over $10,000 into the vehicle to get it to run right. I'm embarrassed to say. The final diagnosis is an internal component I think it's called the timing chain actuator. It will cost more to fix it than it's worth. I can't sell it with a check engine light either! More

Ideal Cars help my wife and I get into a used 2006 Nissan Xterra, it is in great shape and I can fully work on it. The salesmen were awesome and went over everything, worked to get my wife a loan with a 1yea Xterra, it is in great shape and I can fully work on it. The salesmen were awesome and went over everything, worked to get my wife a loan with a 1year old bankruptcy. The one thing none of us thought of addressing was the tires. While it was just over the 15day/500miles warranty they offer, the service department took care of us. It was the 2 rear tires that were the issue, had to replace one ourselves. When I contacted the service department Rick made it RIGHT! The 2 front tires were Wranglers AT and in great condition, no one would rotate them bc of the older bad tire I hadn't replaced. I got a rotation and replaced tire, the dealership took tire safety very serious. While yes I did have to take care of one of them the dealership stepped up thankfully bc I didn't have the budget for the 2nd one, and did not want to replace the 2 front tires bc they were in great shape. For used cars, good deals, and awesome service I do recommend Ideal Cars! More
Their advertised price is a JOKE ! Brad was very helpful, non pushy salesman. Was a quick in and out process. Got done in a little over an hour. Free oil changes for a year. Car was clean and as described along with the price. Was a quick in and out process. Got done in a little over an hour. Free oil changes for a year. Car was clean and as described along with the price. Came in with out own pre approval and they did not try to push any other financing like most other dealers do. I would recommend Ideal Cars. More
If you're looking for any vehicle. ..stay as far away from any of the "Ideal" lots. They will sell you on a car that they say has been thoroughly inspected and is in good condition. Far ..stay as far away from any of the "Ideal" lots. They will sell you on a car that they say has been thoroughly inspected and is in good condition. Far from what is actually the truth. August of 2022 purchased a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee and brought it in for to have a few things done that were addressed at the time of purchase. The front end was making some noise, the alignment was off. They proceeded to tell us that it just needed some lubing up and would be good......forward to a few months later when the entire front end needed replacing at a cost of over $2k. Additionally, the AC/heat blend didn't work....come to find out the entire motor/actuator was removed and probably hadn't been working for years. Didn't find that out until the cold days hit. Last straw was the oil change done at their service center. Had the oil change done a day before a trip to San Diego and on the way back 3 days later the oil light came on, white smoke filled the cabin and the temp went to the red. Had the car towed and was discovered that the oil plug had fallen out. They refuse to take any responsibility for any wrong doing. They said they'd be "happy" to look at it after the fact but did not offer any solutions to getting the car back to Mesa from El Centro, California. Ethan, who claimed to be the manager looked at the pictures the mechanic in California sent and determined from them that the threads were stripped.....which ended up not being the case. Even if it was the case...they had been the only shop to do the oil changes for the past 13 months. This adventure cost me time, gas money, new oil plug, oil and towing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these crooks. They will take your money and want nothing to do with you once you drive off the lot. More
