Edited 8/24/2023 ***Bought the car 6/01/2023 was contacted by my credit union 7/18/2023 because my title/proof of ownership had not been sent to them and my loan paperwork was at risk of an apr incr contacted by my credit union 7/18/2023 because my title/proof of ownership had not been sent to them and my loan paperwork was at risk of an apr increase. Called navy federal credit union and they told me that the tag and title should have been completed by the dealership and they needed to send the proof of ownership. Contacted Heather on 7/18 and she did not respond, texted her again on 8/7/2023 and she did respond and say she would get back to me. That did not happen. Called the dealership and turns out they were bought by another dealership and my paperwork belonged to them. Called the new dealership and finally got some help. Turns out their finance department misfiled my loan as cash because it was from my own bank and not financed through them and the title paperwork with the Florida dmv was incorrect. All in all, a hassle. Also was offered a gas card because my vehicle was delivered to me with half a tank of gas but that did not happen either. Thanks to the nice guy in finance who helped point me in the right direction today. Heather was awesome! She went above and beyond to get me into the vehicle I wanted as quickly as I needed it. I would do business with her again. Caleb was also very helpful and everyone I interacted with from the rountree Toyota team had delightful customer service. More
It's great and I'm enjoying my upgrade cause my other car was a 2015 and it was good on gas but needed the upgrade, thank you Roundtree/my sale person for helping me get my upgrade . Roundtree is a delightful dealership. We were welcomed personally by Mr. Carter! We liked the warm inviting decor with snacks, activities and a friendly staff. On Dec 8, I called Rountree Moore Toyota in Lake City, FL to ask about them honoring a paint recall. Erica told me I was covered for the free work and could schedule immediately. I told them my wife was just diagnosed with breast cancer and since we have a flood of doctor appointments, I'd like to hold off for a while. She assured me this was fine and said to call back when ready. No mention of the recall expiring. I called back in January a few times, but they told me I had to work with Erica and she was off. She was supposed to call me, but didn't. Still no mention of expiry. I called back again in February and was told that the recall had expired. They purposefully delayed me past the expiration date of the recall, knowing I had family issues. I asked for the manager to call me. The manager called and told me her hands were tied, even though they had dropped the ball. She said I needed to call Toyota directly, which I did. They refused to help and told me the dealership was the one who had the final say because they are all independently owned. They just pointed fingers at each other and refused to help me. More
