Allison did a great job communicating and keeping us up to date on the arrival date of the car we wanted. The closing process was long but went smoothly. The finance team was initially a little pushy trying to close the sale, and did not communicate correct information on the availability of the Federal tax credit on the electric car. First thing: I am not very happy about a "DealerRater" profile being created without my knowledge or permission. My email address was shared and my profile name was created as my real name, all this witho profile being created without my knowledge or permission. My permission needs to be obtained prior to sharing my email address. Service department review: Anthony wrote in my service profile that I refused to pay the diagnostic fee. What actually happened was I told him he did not provide any paperwork for me to sign when I dropped off my vehicle. Then he told me I would need to speak with his manager if I was not happy with the verbal information provided. Then after I said I would go ahead and speak with the manager, he told me the manager was in a meeting. Then he sent me a text message about an hour or so later saying he spoke with his manager and the fee is waived. When I arrived to pick up my car I asked about the wording on my account that mentioned I refused to pay. The young woman at the front desk was rude and said the wording was going to remain on my profile because I got a free service. In reality there was no free service; they did not fix anything. Then she proceeded to give me a hard time when I requested a copy of my paperwork. I've had my Hyundai vehicle for 16 years and never had any kind of problem like that woman at the front desk gave me. Another thing that was disappointing was I had sent a request through your Ask a Tech page on your website and I also sent a message through your chat representative, but never received a reply. This was at least a week prior to me dropping off my vehicle. I never got any response back to either of those messages. In addition, whoever was in my vehicle rummaged through my coin tray (aka "front ashtray") when they had no business opening that tray. If they are all "Hyundai Certified" they would have known there weren't any wires behind that tray that needed accessing. So that tells me they were either snooping or looking for something to steal. This dealership service department was pretty decent 6-7 years ago when they had the advisor named Barry working there. They have gone downhill since then. More
