Ambushed at service desk" DO NOT buy or service a Hyundai or Genesis from this dealer! On August 23, 2023 I had a 930 appt made for warranty work for a fuel system repair on my 2019 Genesis G90 Ultim Hyundai or Genesis from this dealer! On August 23, 2023 I had a 930 appt made for warranty work for a fuel system repair on my 2019 Genesis G90 Ultimate. This dealer had serviced it since new, the only ones to touch it and I got to know many of the sales and service staff well over time to include the General Mgr/ partner Pete Szekely. also I purchased a brand ..new 2021 Hyundai Palisade from them also, and sent good business their way. Subsequently, both cars suffered service blunders, which I forgave them for as things happen. One oil change, a shroud covering the oil pan was not secured causing it the next day to drop down scraping the ground on a busy interstate at 75mph making a horrible noise causing me to be on a dangerous shoulder to xx it. The day before I was to take a 2,500 mi trip with it. While making the appt for warranty work, I indicated to Christina I did not want anyone stupid or lazy to work on it, referring to the oil change mishap. { keep in mind these people do not return calls and emails and it took weeks just to get hold of her to set this up, so I am frustrated} She objected to my use of words and said I could not say that word! I said what? I disagreed and had a right to I say that after saw it as a stupid or lazy incident which greatly inconvenienced and endangered me, particularly since this is luxury car concierge they claim. So, I arrive there on the 23rd for the warranty service to be met at the counter by Zack who I do not know and is in full "bouncer mode" who presents with threatening body language and size asking "are you the guy that called all of us stupid and lazy?" I get it now, they elected you to try to "scare" me with your bar room bouncer stance. Dealt with many like you in my past and not amused and do not blink. I told him what I actually said and he just looks at me. I then asked "can I trust you to work on my car?" Silence. Asked him again and he says "can you?" I ask again and he says "maybe?" Next went to the sales area looking for G Mgr Pete who was conveniently "not available." A new sales mgr I did not know heard my name and said to me "Oh, you are the guy that called all of us stupid and lazy." Obviously, there was to be NO work done this day or ever after. All these years of service and buying another 50k car and sending them my Dr. who wanted to buy a new Genesis ev me4ant zero. Because low level Christina lied, or lies spread falsely?????? Apparently, all of them got together to set my wife and I up to sandbag and ambush us as everyone I knew there was conveniently missing including the "Gen Mgr owner partner Pete Szekely. These evil people planned this against us.. who had treated them very well and were understanding when the Palisade was trouble and the car was damaged by them. Please note, my wife and I are in our late seventies and wasted a whole half day of time and driving to be abused. In the weeks that followed, civil messages were left of Szekely's phone. Zero response from a feckless weasel of a man. If you read this and deal with and are hurt by these toxic xxxxxxxx, it's on you. Some of the sales staff are decent folks here, but now I would not take a free Hyundai or Genesis from any of them because of Hyundai Genesis of Cumming. More

A 2 hrs recall check turned into 2 days,3 days, 4 days… of delay of responding from them. When I finally reached them I was told that the wire in my car broke, they can’t address any issues until the wire get fixed,which will cost $ 9800. I tried to ask the manager to work with us and fix the issue they caused, but the manager adamantly and rudely denied any responsibility and refused the request. When I went to pick up my car,I saw a car that was not how I dropped it off-the display screen in the car is shut off,the driver seat is all the way to the front,the widows of the car were all the way down…I reached out to Hyundai headquarter regarding the issues we had with the dealership. The representative at the headquarter spent several months trying to assist solving the issues, but the cumming dealership refused to cooperate and continued to refuse to do anything or take any responsibility. Eventually I called Hyundai of Roswell to consult the issues, I was told that they had 5,6 calls from dissatisfied customers of cumming location that day to fix the problems cumming location has caused. The quote for fixing the issues at Roswell location is 1/4 of what cumming location was going to charge us! So stay away from this place, do not let them touch your car, period! More
If you value your time, stay away from this dealer. ..pick another one. For two years now I've taken both my Hyundais here for normal service (oil changes, tire rotations, recalls, etc.). And each time it's a 2+ hour wait just to simply change the oil, and I'm the type to make an appointment 1 month in advance. They always have the same excuse of "we are very busy because we do the service for Genesis, our sister building". Sorry, not good enough for me, that's a poor excuse. If you are that busy, then you need to hire more people, or you don't need to overbook your service schedules. My last visit was on 11/30/23 where I waited over 3 hours just for an oil change (even when I made my appointment 1 month prior). Ridiculous and inexcusable. I will not be going back here, nor will I even consider buying my next Hyundai here. I will also strongly recommend none of my friends/family go here. More
WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORST - ZERO OUT OF TEN I am one of the UNFORTUNATE hundreds of thousands of Hyundai Sonata owners that had to have an engine replacement. (Google “class-action lawsuit forced Hyundai all 2.4-liter and 2.0-liter turbo Theta II engines) Upon getting my car returned to me AFTER THE ENGINE REPLACEMENT, I noticed a “Whirling” sound from the replacement engine. When it was time for the 5000 Mile Oil Change for the new engine I scheduled an appointment with Hyundai of Cumming. The earliest Hyundai of Cumming could “WORK ME IN” for an oil change was THREE WEEKS. I informed the SERVICE DESK of my concern for the “Whirling” sound. When I picked up the car the following day the Invoice was $237.63 - $59.99 for an oil change - $190.00 DIAGNOSTIC CHARGE for the “Whirling” sound. I REGRET PURCHASING A HYUNDAI I REGRET DOING BUSINESS WITH HYUNDAI OF CUMMING FURTHERMORE, I REGRET THAT MY CAR WAS NOT ONE THOUSANDS THAT WERE STOLEN DUE TO THE ANTI-THEFT RECALL - That would have been a blessing! I recently purchased a 2023 Santa Fe on March of this year. Although the vehicle was used as a loaner and had approximately 5000 miles on it I was told I would have unlimited free oil changes and tire ro year. Now Im told that is not true and they will not honor their agreement. I visited the dealership severl weeks ago and brought a friend along as a witness to our conversation with the sales person. He stated to both of us that I had the service agreement. Now he denies he told us. Clearly this dealership has lost all credibility with me and I'll caution others to shop elsewhere. More
I brought my wife's car in for the first oil change. 3 days later on vacation I noticed an oil spot on the driveway. The next day I had to take the car to the dealership in Florida to have it fixed and 3 days later on vacation I noticed an oil spot on the driveway. The next day I had to take the car to the dealership in Florida to have it fixed and find out that the screws for a plastic shield were also stripped and being held on by clips. When I brought this to the attention of the service manager I got "sorry and the dealership manager will be contacting you to make this right" and it has been silence for the week that followed. I've learned my lesson and will not be returning for any remaining services or sales More
I've just leased the New Ioniq 6. This is my very first electric vehicle and I am amazed at the Hyundai's technology as well as the beautiful design. Not only I am happy with the car but Jamie Pak did an amazing job as a sales consultant. I am Korean and it gives me another reason to come to the dealer knowing I can work with a sales consultant who can speak the same language. It made it so easy with the overall buying process. She is very kind and professional. I've seen some of the reviews from other customers who worked with Jamie and I can agree. If you are in the market for a new car and want to work with a salesperson who cares about the customer, I recommend you ask for her. I have to say I had a fantastic experience with Hyundai of Cumming dealership including all the managers and the staff as well as the facility. They were very friendly and professional. I am incredibly lucky that I bought Ioniq 6 on the 2nd day it came in. Thank you Jamie and the dealership. My family and I are in love with the new IONIQ 6. More
