I have been looking to buy a used 2022 Tucson for over a month. I’ve checked every dealership in the tristate area. I even drove 2 1/2 hours to Jersey to look at three Tucsons. Almost every dealer loaded up the deal with bogus fees and add ons that I didn’t want. I went to visit James Boyd at 112 Hyundai to see if he could locate a truck for me because I didn’t see any on their website. Someone I trust recommended him to me. He immediately showed me a 2023 limited which from my experience at other dealers I assumed was out of my price range. I told him not to even bother and find me a 2022. He sold me the 2023 for less money than other dealers were quoting me for a 2022. I was completely blown away. Price of the car, tax and dmv fee. Simple out the door in two hours. I am in complete disbelief. Everyone at the dealership was amazing. The sales mgr Mike, the finance mgr Allison and the Insurance guy Kyle were just as great as James my salesman. The last month has been xxxx trying to find a dealer that was fair and not trying to scam me. I should have started at 112 but then I probably wouldn’t appreciate how amazing my experience was. I did my research. I knew what the car was worth and I had a budget in mind. 112 Hyundai exceeding all my expectations. I you want to buy a Hyundai and you are looking for no xx professional people, this is the place to go. More
Zero stars I brought my car in there with the check engine light on and they couldn’t figure out the problem. Complete failure. My understanding is that you’re a Hyundai service center what seems to be engine light on and they couldn’t figure out the problem. Complete failure. RUN DONT WALK AWAY WORST DEALER EVER! GOT A FAIR PRICE BUT CAR WAS DELIVERED WITH PAINT CHIPPED IN TWO SPOTS. NOT ONLY DID THEY DENY ANY WRONGDOING AND OFFERED NO SATISFACTION, THEY TRIED GOT A FAIR PRICE BUT CAR WAS DELIVERED WITH PAINT CHIPPED IN TWO SPOTS. NOT ONLY DID THEY DENY ANY WRONGDOING AND OFFERED NO SATISFACTION, THEY TRIED TO WITHHOLD THE PHEV CHARGING CABLE. IF I DIDNT LOOK UNDER THE REAR HOLDING COMPARTMENT UNDER THE FLOORBOARD IN THE TRUNK I WOULD HAVE DROVE OFF WITHOUT IT AND WOULD HAVE HAD TO BUY ONE ON MY OWN SINCE I NOW KNOW THEY WOULD HAVE REFUSED TO HELP WITH ANYTHING. I purchased a Hyundai Tucson 2019 used on April 10,2022. The car broke down with a seized engine on February 1,2024. I had the car inspected at the dealership and they are not honoring the warranty on the claim of no service records from June 1,2020-April 10,2022. I did not own the car at this point of time. I have all paperwork showing proof of purchase, payment, service records from April 10,2022- February 1,2024. I can also prove that I was not due for an oil change for at least 1k more miles. I will be filing a lawsuit in Suffolk County Court this week. Also they took over 6 weeks to loook at the vehicle and it’s been a 14 week process to get the final decision today. I am also a right below the knee Amputtee who has been stranded due to this situation. More
This place is an ABSOLUTE CIRCUS! ! Zero accountability but they'll take your money!! Bought a car in September, 1 week in, it had a water leak and they've haven't called us or told ! If you want answers, don't even go to the dealership! Nobody has any answers. Nobody knows anything going on! Apparently there's never a manager on duty. Nobody is in charge. ESP when the GM is out of town!! Service Dept is USELESS! And when they get out of meetings where they "just got our xxxxx handed to us", apparently that's my fault!!! So I get a xxxx attitude bc I'm only here to find out what's going on with my car that I've made 4 payments on already and have yet to truly OWN IT!!! FYI: water leaks and 2inches of water across the passenger side of the vehicle deems them to replace the windshield seal, Hunt down a new rug and send us on our way. After it sat in the parking lot for WEEKS in the beating sun, no windows open. No ventilation. Nothing. Do some research and tell me how long it takes for mold to grow on surfaces and fabrics without proper ventilation and moisture removal!? I'll wait... NEW 2024 lease. 400 miles. Water leak from manufacturing defect and 2 months later, we still have ZERO ANSWERS. ZERO resolution. Zero finish line. Zero communication yet we have every ounce of UNPROFESSIONAL and Caddy adults who treat their customers like I xxx after they get your $$$$$$$. STAY AWAY! RUN AWAY, FAST! More

The service department desk personnel here are totally incompetent. I have never dealt with a dealership with such poor customer service and with such lack of knowledge of the vehicles that they service. incompetent. I would advise anyone not to bring their vehicle to this dealership for any type of service. This service department after 3 years and several days of my vehicle being left at this dealership still are unable to explain or find the cause of a roof leak that constantly leads to the center console light shortening out and needing to be replaced along with water entering the vehicle. I'm hoping at this point that's the only damage. As of my last visit instead of removing the center console light and the front headliner and checking for damage and to make attempt to locate the cause nothing was done with the exception of them running water over the sunroof while the so called technician sat inside my vehicle. I was advised the next day when I picked up my vehicle that nothing else is going to be done and that the bulb in the center console will cost me $120 to replace. What a disgrace! More
I've purchased several vehicles from this dealership in the past (Chevrolet) but never had Hyundai. Decided to check them out and was greeted by their sales person Joe Trabona. Joe was very informative and the past (Chevrolet) but never had Hyundai. Decided to check them out and was greeted by their sales person Joe Trabona. Joe was very informative and helpful but not aggressive salesman. This makes the whole process much easier and less stressful. I've asked him about 2023 Kona N-line as well as 2023 Tucson N-Line. Both cars looked nice and every technical and very specific question I had, Joe had an immediate and precise answer. This is pretty rare as many salesman today have no idea about what kind of equipment or specs cars they're selling have. Hyundai should be very happy to have Joe as their employee. He printed an offer for Kona and I told him I will think about it and might bring my wife to check the car. Again, Joe was helpful and open to discuss if we decide to come back. But still not aggressive or angry because I'm not buying the car right now (sounds familiar?). Later that afternoon my wife and me came back, leased those 2 cars and had a nice experience with zero stress or problems. Additionally their finance managers Allison Rollero and sorry I forgot the other guy's name were very nice and helpful. Did not try to add any additional costs to our previous agreement. Offered stuff as they have to but were not super pushy like finance managers can be. For example long time ago, Volkswagen finance manager at Bayside dealership was harassing me for half an hour to buy additional warranty so he can get a Caribbean vacation as a reward. That was funny :) Overall we are very happy with both cars and the price we are paying. Will be happy to speak and work with Joe Trabona and Allison Rollero any time in the future once our lease is over. More
Hyundai112 is not your typical dealership. James Boyd is straightforward and does not play games. In addition, Hyundai112 does not charge a market adjustment price as most area dealers do.
